I see this a bit like a coconut shy at a funfair... you can spend a load of money trying to knock them down, but the game is rigged and then even if you manage to win, all you get is crappy teddybear; which will end up just gathering dust at the back of a cupboard somewhere.

It's the point of it. He's available for a limited time and people blow through all their Units for that fact. With Drop Rates that low, the chance of getting him is a needle in a haystack. It would be one thing if it was available any time. Then you could try now and then if you had a few spare Units. To spend thousands over time for one Champ that barely drops select times of the year is pushing the model.

Just bc someone spends a lot on a game doesn't mean they spend on anything even if it has absolutely zero value whatsoever. I got platpool bc it was a guarantee and I got enough pieces from the free crystals and had to spend a minimal amount to get him. I'm not about to spend thousands of units on a miniscule chance at an essentially useless champ
