You already have two great champions ready to go for Thronebreaker. The only reason why I would wait is because Ghost, Warlock, G2099, and Guardian are more fun to play for me. But, Hulkbuster and Sentinel are great options (and you love playing with Hulkbuster already), so I would take them up to reap the benefits of the daily crystals.

Im gonna r2 my sentinel, and maybe R3. And im already TB.

I wouldn’t be tentative about Sentinel here because I think he’s an obvious R3 choice. Discussion about whether TB is worth it typically centers around whether ranking a subpar champ justifies it—but I’d never put Sentinel into the subpar category.

TB has its shortcomings (plenty of threads—you can search under my and @DNA3000 comments) but you may as well go ahead. Sentinel can smash the Variants you haven’t done. I suspect you will get enough T5cc crystals there to give you more rankup dilemmas.

I was just thinking of getting T5CC with TB, otherwise it will take me a long long....time to form 1 full T5CC like @Aleor mentioned previously.

Id say Sentinel is a really good r3 option regardless, especially duped. Having been thronebreaker since the start, there arent many perks. Mostly just daily crystals.

Sure, go for it! I guess.
HB is also a decent option btw. His power burn is sweet. His biggest downside is how inconsistent his heavy spam in corner is - same animation as venom's, but misses sometimes. That was the reason I took 5* g99 over hb to r5.
Comparing with other current tech options - he's very similar to warlock actually. He is weaker in some things, like his heal block is a debuff, not a passive, but on the other hand, he has some more unique things, like sp2 into block still deals most of it's damage. He is my go to champ for darkhawk half of the time for example - don't knock him down, no auto lock, no heal, easy fight. The other half is torch. Also he's the best champ for learning how to hit in block a lot, wich helps to control the space, so you don't get cornered...
If you already have him r2, you probably know it yourself, I speak too much. If you like him, he's a great option to go with. If you don't like both sentinel and hb, totally up to you. If you have champs of other classes you want to r3, getting tb will most likely help it happen faster, depends on your t5cc shards collected atm

Sentinel will give prestige. Also hb is hardly usable in endgame content bvuz the heavy is poopy

Then you should R3 Sentinel. My R3 Tech is Warlock, and he’s probably the only Tech I would R3 ahead of Sentinel (I’m not a Ghost guy).

As for the Daily, don’t get too excited. The main TB benefits are (a) 5% T5c calendar crystal each month, (b) 5% T5c in the Glory store each week, (c) exclusive TB offers around July 4/Black Friday and (d) reduced 6* featured cost with the Sigil.

I think Hulkbuster is more useful all around now, but I always have been a fan of sentinel

I would have chose Hulkbuster.
Only problem with hulkbuster is that his heavy reach is very short range. I do get hit sometimes while spamming heavies.

But Sentinel attacks benefits at higher rank.

I am a die-hard Sentinel fan. Even unawakened I would put him over HB. He is useful in 3 Variants, has immunity and excels against mutants (he kills them very very fast, even in contents such as 6.4).

That's the average from my last 115 crystals.

Also, as an aside, while we technically get one daily crystal per day, no one actually gets one daily crystal per day due to the way that crystal resets. Because I refuse to set an alarm or anything like that to pick up that crystal, the reset time drifts later and later and then eventually I miss a day. Looking at my data, I'm losing about 9% of my dailies to this effect. So actually, my 30 day average for rewards is actually my 30 crystal average, and in fact I'm opening slightly less than that many crystals per month on average (closer to 28-29). It is a small but material effect that adds up over time. Something to keep in mind.

I personally like hulkbuster better than sentinel. Neither is a bad option.

Those would be excellent pulls in my opinion. My stats over a month and a half suggest 2/3 Daily pulls are either 50% T4b, 50% T4c or 10% T5b.

Not bad overall, but it took me ~45 tries before I pulled a full cat from the Daily that wasn’t a T4c or a T4b (and I only pulled 3 full T4b and a single full T4c over that time).

But perhaps I’m just an outlier.
