Why are people so quick to judge? Right now you may not want this character, or he doesn't look like you want him to, but why care? I've seen his abilities from MCOC Trucos and he looks very promising, more than Carnage. Gwenpool, Hyperion, Doctor Voodoo, I can't recall seeing any of them on people's wish lists, and look at how powerful they are

Punisher 2099 was part of the short lived contest of champions comic as the summoner that was against maestro. Wouldn't be mad to see a doom 2099 or Spider-Man 2099. Spider-Man 2099 over a mcu version easily.

spidergwen and hyperion are well established characters. Hyperion is very prominent in the avengers series and so is Gwen in the spiderverse. And we have seen him If you look at his animations they are very similar to Cables. Ability wise he is weak as well. Guys, we've established that Punisher 2099 isn't well-known. He's not very popular either. So what!? We've gotten champs like this before! No one knew who Spidergwen or Hyperion were, but we got them! Stop complaining and see if he's good first, especially if you're going to shoot down guys that we DID ask for like Dr Doom.

spidergwen and hyperion are well established characters. Hyperion is very prominent in the avengers series and so is Gwen in the spiderverse. And we have seen him If you look at his animations they are very similar to Cables. Ability wise he is weak as well. Regeneration only when hit, stun only on a heavy etc. Crappy tech champion, what's new.

Carnage is very well established as well. Punisher 2099 is in an event with Carnage, which is why he got put in.

They are making an event with both of them. They were going to put him in the game from the start, hence this picture:

There are many oddball characters that have been put in the game. Just because they've been in one or two comics doesn't mean they are well established. I personally think that Spidergwen is not only lame, but just bad in the game. Just because you think someone is a dumb ripoff of another character doesn't mean everyone has to agree. I think Spidergwen is just a dumb ripoff of Spidey himself, but not everyone has to agree with me. You are trying to make everyone agree with you.

I'm saying that everyone doesn't like certain characters. Just because you don't like one doesn't mean you should start a thread railing on them.

im allowed to critique character design, and thats what im doing. His model looks sloppy. His animations look highly similar to Cables.

He hasn't even been released yet. Critique him after you use him.

Actually, could I have a link to that? And to your point, you haven't used him. There are some characters that you have fun using, and some that you don't. You can't always tell by watching a video. I have a blast using Wolverine, even though he's a pretty basic and straightforward character. I have a really rough time using Crossbones, even though he's a bit more complex and detailed. You can never tell for sure until you use the guy.
