For hard content, end-game stuff, story quests, Cav EQ, side quests and special events there are always better, faster options.
But I don't want to waste time arguing because quake will be phased out but only when r4 6 stars drop and the health pools are way too high for quaking to be worth it. We still got another year minimum of quake dominance.
I searched Youtube for Quake tutorials. Found videos from Hector, BG, and a few others that showcased a bit of her heavy/parry style. This was summer of 2017. Or at least that's when I saw the videos. That style became popular over the next year to the more casual players.
1st time I was aware of the heavy/dex style was around the time of Variant 1, so late 2018/early 2019. Think it was Dorky Dave where I saw that style for the 1st time against the Korg from Variant 1, 3.3.
You're also severely downplaying the number of people that can use Quake. If it was so few people there wouldn't be so many people begging for a 6* to exist. You don't have to be a perfect Quake player to ignore massive percentages of the game by any means.
I get that this ridiculous game is very expensive in both time and/or resources to play at any sort of competitive level but that doesn't mean doing a bunch of mental gymnastics to try to justify continuing with things that are flat out broken just bc they're cheap.
Also, people are begging for 6* quake just have a loud voice and they also want a 6 star Hyperion and Medusa and all the other useful champions as 6 stars. We can agree that six star quake is totally OP but that's more for Alliance war and not AQ.
Some things are broken in this game, like Corvus timeouts, Quake and Ghost as champs themselves.
The fact that they give advantage to players doesn’t negate the fact that they are bad for the game as total.
Example, I was having a nightmarish 6.2 exploration, up to the point I was lucky to pull 5* Ghost and stroll through it.
How balanced is that?
There is content and fights on Act6 mainly, that is Quake, Ghost or massive unit spend to get through it.
This shouldn’t happen. It’s not good for the game and whoever don’t accept that, is just being ignorant.
People are complaining about niche fights, but at the same time they enjoy to have only couple of champs that can do them.
