Apocalypse Quick way to make horseman?

Apologies if this is a really dumb question but is there a way to use Apocalypse's ability to make horseman without actually winning 3 fights with apocalypse?

Im asking because I saw lagacy refer to it by saying he could "spend a revive" to make archangel a horseman in the new hero variant

    Beating a mutant will get him to 4 charges, and the cable synergy also speeds it up

    Bring apoc and cable, if you want to spend a revive, enter the first fight, die, revive and go in to first fight and you can create a horseman.
