I think they're pretty even but CGR is available as a 6*.

Has to be CGR many reasons
1. Doesn't need awakening imo
2. Way better damage
3. Can help in almost any content
4.Some don't talk much about this but great synergies
5. Debuff stack up
6. Double Immunity

CGR clearly has the damage, but Hype’s ability to never touch them aside from specials is crazy. He counters so many nodes with his power gain, and I just think he is more valuable and useful than CGR for Act 6.

Hyperion is the best champ, that being said, cgr will be going to R3 soon, and he will be used more than hype, his only drawback is not being as a 6star

I vote not ever using CGR as I’ve never pulled in 5 or 6 star yet.

But if he really is stronger than hype I can’t wait because hype is my only cosmic I really regularly use.

Hype just keeps on surprising me with what he can do. Even variant 7 he’s great for.

It’s incredible a champ released over 4 years ago can carry so much weight in current content and also STILL be arguably the best cosmic.

I personally prefer CGR. He’s a lot less rng based and a lot more fun to play. He’s also got a lot more utility than hype.
