Is Longshot meta?

So I just got a 5* longshot and he is one of my fav champs so i'm wondering if he is in the meta rn.

He's good enough that you don't have to worry about how good he if you rank him up for enjoyment.

He is in the meta. Even if he wasn’t you should rank him up because you like him.

I'm gonna disagree with the Dr. Feelgood brothers and sisters here; don't rank your non-meta favorites over meta gods until you have all your meta bases covered. Having more meta champs means you progress faster which allows you more room to rank the champs you really like, just later on.

That said, Longshot is meta. Top meta in mystic are Doom and SuicdeClaire, but even if you have one of those two, Longshot is still a good r5 to have because:

- Super long FateSeal, and access to nullify with sig. Both effects sadly becoming rare for mystic classes... oddly.
- He doesn't really have to worry about AAR.
- Great power gain.
- Massive damage potential, particularly against buff bearers that burn.
