Well, some champs who don't fight hand to hand were included to widen the pool of champs available. Else many people would be getting best champs aegon.

Going by your statement , what would you say about BWDO , Thor Rags and Ronin who uses a freakin Katana . They don't ever use fist .. not a little ..but a lot of inconsistency . It's just their way of not giving great champs. Some are there in the crystal ..but major ones are missing.

Just like a normal nexus crystal except the options range from 2* 3* 4*.... But mostly the options are 2* lol... If you get lucky you get to choose between 3x 4* champs.

this makes even less sense. by this logic either crossbones hit monkey and kingpin should absolutely be on this list because they mainly attack with hand to hand. Or black widow (deadly orgins) both daredevils, electra, hawkeye, killmonger, ronin and thor (ragnarok) shouldn"t be on there because they even use anything other then their fists for any attack
Let's just wait for the event to start to see what's in store.
The events should actually start like two days earlier, even before the previous one ends. Many players wait for the next event to start, who don't have any content to play. That way the wait and eagerness is softened.

That would make sense if you didn’t just hand pick meh champs
Aegon can shoot lighting and ronin/Electra can use his sword and star but not gwenpool
Squirrel girl can use her squirrels but no mole man, and of course it doesn’t matter that deadly origin uses an almost identical shock attack.
Karnak can shoot stuff though cause he’s weak af, so that’s ok
Moleman Crossbones Falcon Hit monkey Blade Nick fury Gwenpool Not ok for them because they’re good
Aegon Electra Hawkeye ronin Karnak Thor killmonger squirrel girl black widow ( deadly origin) are all good though.... guess their toys are magically different though Lol
What about champions that are not in the skill class, but are still top notch fighters? Captain America, Deadpool, Psylocke, Wolverine, Iron Fist, Gambit, Proxima, Tigra, and X-23 all spring to mind as characters who employ martial arts as one of their main fighting characteristics.
I know a lot of the focus of this thread is on the crystal pool. But, I'm still having a hard time getting past the fact the for the first time ever, they decided to make the potions and revives have zero value to seasoned players for some reason. Seems like another bias against veteran players. The normal in game potion system is already so skewed to benefit newer players already as it is. Because it's a flat value vs a percentage. Anyone using champs with smaller health pools is getting markedly more value for the same unit cost. This is unbalanced already as it is.
Serious question, does anyone at all from the veteran portion of the community actually buy level 5 potions at 28 units a pop? It's silly. Look, I know in the grand view of things, there are much bigger things to be upset about. But I can't help it, it's small things like this that add up to build frustration.
Seasoned players are already dealing with monthly content that is one tier beneath our capability as it is. Yes, I'm glad Cav EQ and Legendary SQ finally got released, but tbh it's still behind. It was very late to begin with. Now, we are waiting again for another difficulty to be added. Meanwhile while we wait, we are just stuck earning the same rewards as players who have played the game for about half the time we have. As a result, we are coasting through the content. To now say that the special items given out as part of the event can only be used in the event is making them worthless for us, cause we are already stuck doing a difficulty that is beneath us and requires no item use. It's just adding insult to injury.
Again, I hate to sound dramatic, cause there are many more serious issues to be upset about. But, as with many things that ruffle my feathers in this game. It's simply the principal. And frankly just makes me dislike this side event before even playing it. It just wasn't necessary guys.
If you're gonna restrict the items given in a special event to be used only in the event, you need to add another difficulty. So experienced players can actually use them.

I just realized another thing that sucks for veteran players. 10,000 shards guarantees a 5-star. 4000 shards only gets you Cavalier odds, so you’re putting a LOT of 3/4 star pulls on the table in hopes of getting a 6. Woof.

Absolutely true he was in it, that's because it was a special event crystal with different crystals by year of champions' release. It's justified that even as a new champ that month, Spider-Ham was in that Sexenium crystal because that particular crystal got 2020 champs in it.
