KABAM can't justify

Please explain how you can justify or even rationalize nerfing champs like DS and others and then release OP heroes again and again. I know you guys are not dumb. You can tell when a hero is OP or not.

Is the only justification greed? To simply cause people to spend. Of course we all know that is a driving factor in every decision but was hoping there was at least some level of rationalization beyond this. No?

    If the old champs were still good why would anyone pay for the new champs? Kabam is a business not a public service.

    pre 12.0 DS, Thor, SW, and BW were much more OP than any of these new champs.

    GP, Hype, DV, Blade, Sparky, AA, Iceman etc are pretty OP too.
    Kabam's reason for nerfing Thor was 'parrying 3 to 4 times in a row required no skill' but now they have release Sparky, with whom you need to just evade 10 times (normal attacks, not even specials) and he starts wrecking stuff up.
    A Sparky with 10 poise charges = A SL(of same rank/level) with 40+ combo. And that's just for normal attacks, Stark's crit rate is so high that he does damage equivalent to SL with 120+ hit combo on crits with 10 poise charges. So yeah, these champs are pretty OP too.

    I actually understand the nerf to SW and Thor but they killed Dr. Strange and black widow wasn't OP she just saved people money. You had to play incredibly well for BW to be effective. Don't forget the nerfed ultron output a little too...that was ridiculous.

    Yeah exactly, BW's crit rate was nerfed as well.

    you obviously never played with pre 12.0 thor then. With 3 armor breaks he could do 10k in a single punch. with 4 armor breaks his sp3 hit for almost 100k.

    All these new champs are good maybe even slightly godly, but they don't come close to what SW could do. Even though DS didn't do the most damage, he could regen over half his health in a single special.

    I have to respectfully disagree with this. DS, Thor, SW and BW has nothing in comparison to this new batch they keep releasing.

    This is very very true. You could solo end game content with a 3* SW. 2 of the 3 new champs have caps to keep them in line. Blade is far too OP. Mephisto is squishy, Morningstar takes awhile to build up souls, Blade...cant heal against champs who dont bleed??

    Sw needed it and mine was sig 99 about 7 months before the nerf. Now ds was wrong. No need for it. They wanted to hype voodoo is my guessing. Kabam has always had bad support tho and customer satisfaction. Been doing this a looooong time before mcoc

    I had all these champs at 4/40. So i know how everything worked. Yeah SW was OP, with a crit team she kept everything stun locked, plus a couple regen buffs etc etc.

    Thor, yeah an SP3 with 3/4 armor breaks was devastating. BUT, if you had parry/stupefy maxed you could get max 3 armor breaks at a time. And he was basically useless against stun immune. Can you tell me any weakness that stark spidey has? No.

    BW, all she did was stop defensive abilities. And it takes a long time + resources to get a champ to level 99. But her ability was nerfed. Also due to some reason her attack and crit rate was nerded as well.

    DS was a great champ, he actually required skill. Not mindless tapping. He had low base stats but his power gain, armor breaks and regen made up for that. Now all that was nerfed as well.
