Four Months of TB Dailies

Not sure I can say with any statistical certainty that I’m getting closer to reliable drop rates, but ~120 days into TB and I’m averaging the following per month from the TB daily crystal:

1.75 T2a
1.2 T5b
5.3 T4b
5.8 T4c

I’ve pulled 5K 5* shards five times and units once; zero T5c, 5* champs or 6* shards.

Half a T4b or T4c make up about 45% of my overall pulls; full T4c or T4b make up another 16%, so I pull some kind of T4b/c about 61% of the time.

About 28% of the time, I’ve pulled small amounts of T2a or T5b shards. Occasionally (4%), I’ve pulled a full T2a or T5b, representing a little less than the rate one might pull a 6* from a Cav.

For me, the TB daily crystal has been a reliable source of T4c and T4b with every now and then T2a or T5b fragments.

I used to see screenshots of people pulling 10k 6* shards in the first couple of weeks when Thronebreaker daily crystals were introduced. Do people still get them?

My experience would suggest 6* shards and even T5c are super rare—still haven’t seen either in ~120 pulls. That’s purely anecdotal, but it wouldn’t surprise me if they were less than a 1% chance.

Of course, my TB luck could just be very bad. But I find for the most part that the dailies are only marginally useful.

If I could adjust the drop rates, I would make T4b (overlap cats that are needed for three different rarities) and T2a (never enough for hungry 5/6*) more regular drops. In exchange, would be happy to sacrifice some T4c and T5b frag drops.

I’ve been very lucky with 5 star pulls. It’s weird to cause I look away for a second look back and think “what crystal did I just open”

I was so excited to get TB and start opening these crystals. I have not been impressed. I get more T4B than anything. The 4 hour crystals are really good though

What disappoints me is the following:

Low cats I need in batches—things like T1a & T4b don’t do me much good to get here and there. Half a T4b from a TB daily is fine, but the quantities I’m getting monthly are insufficient even to R4 a 5* or R2 a 6*. Would be nice if the only T4b available was a full cat.

Units from the TB daily should either be increased significantly (given their rarity), made more available or removed completely. Currently, this rare pull isn’t enough to purchase a revive.

While a 5* champ would be nice, I’d rather have 10K 5* shards to spend into 6* shards via the Sigil. The proliferation of them in the reel is just...odd to see.

T4c are everywhere in the TB daily...but they are also everywhere in game as well. Nice to be full up on T4c, but I don’t think that tends to be a major issue for most TB players.

It is a free crystal—all it requires is a log-in and a snippet of time (although that often translates into browsing around the game to see if there’s a move to be made, or is there’s an expiring resource, or there’s help to be given, so that snippet usually turns into several minutes or more).

But...it really ought to be a bit more useful.
