The game experienced a brief connectivity issue this morning. The team promptly fixed the issue and things are back to normal, thank you to everyone who passed along reports!

Can not block after medium

Sorry for the English spelling, but I have trouble blocking after medium attack sometimes. It feels like the game will not accept my input on the screen. Others having that issue?

This has been occurring for a very long time in the game... many posts and videos but the TLDR is some champs recover faster from being hit than some other champs can recover from doing the hitting. I say "some" because I don't know if anyone has ever documented which champs behave like this on either side. OR, it could be AI is randomly speeding up recovery from being hit and there is no rhyme or reason to any of it. Either way, I think it's a garbage/broken fight mechanic that shouldn't be there. But that's just me.

May I ask, is this also why I can't use medium after heavy? I sm used to, if I am quick with my fingers, to do a heavy and then intercept with a medium. Not all champs can do this, but those I use on my quest team, have never had any problems until recently.
And I totally agree with you.

As you said, MED after HEAVY is another champ specific attribute (both on attack and on defense) but if it used to work with your champs against certain champs and now it doesn't with the same exact matchups then yes, that points more my second statement about randomly sped up recovery timers... hard to prove definitively but this has been my observation as well.

I get it now.. sorry, my english is not the best, but I totally understand what you are talking about now..but should Kabam not tell us that this is a change?

I think there are just too many variables to weed through to know what is causing this issue for sure. Is it character animation anomalies? Is it the game engine flaking out randomly and dropping frames from animations (hence the sped up recovery), is it device or network lag? Some combination of all the above? It's like finding a needle in a needle stack.

Yes, you are probably right about that 👍
