Opponents are not using Specials

In cav difficulty I was against nova in last chapter. He was not using his special and cornered me.I decided to record video after a while.

well i mean he did throw it at the end. either way, that's just some bad luck. usually what i do when i'm stuck in a corner is just throw one heavy and then hit their block to push them back and hope they throw a special

AI doesn’t throw specials when you’re holding block. The only time you weren’t holding block was when he threw his heavy. AI doesn’t throw specials mid heavy either

Don’t hold block that much then they won’t throw the specials. Wait for them to block and hit into it to gain space instead of throwing the special as well.

4 things

1) AI will hardly ever throw a special into block.
2) Sometimes AI is really annoying and they will refuse to use a special.
3) Don't tell Kabam I escaped the game to talk to you on the forums.
4) This was all an illussion.

Seems like the arena affect is getting into other game modes too
