I just can't bring myself to enjoy 7.2 (sad)

Don't get me wrong here, the content is extremely well designed with pretty unique nodes and fairly easy initial paths, but I just cannot enjoy it. Every fight takes really long time because of the huge health pools. I have been stuck at 6.2.3 HT for a short while now. I have tried him around 6x and always got rekt (not that he's difficult, things just go wrong).

And while I will surely endure and suffer through, I wanna ask what makes the content so much fun for you? I would love to enjoy this because I feel like the devs put a lot of work in it and have done a great job.

I hate to break it to you, but you almost definitely are just not quite ready for it then.

Give yourself some time to build up your roster and your skills and then give it another go and I promise you will love it.

It's nothing I would change on 7.2 personally.. What I really enjoyed is the choice of bosses, that u don't have to fight that one annoying boss twice..

Path wise some was annoying indeed but some harder path should be in the way while exploring

Truth to be told my roster is consider very diverse and I had counters for everything,i don't know if that was different maybe my opinion would be different also

Are you talking about 7.2 or 6.2?

Cuz with 6.2, I agree, the paths are really long, there are so many paths and quite a few opponents are there on those paths as well. However, it is what it is and the best you can do is to just push through it. Take your time, grind as many revives as you want, don't feel embarrassed about how long it takes you.

if healthpool remains 200k then why i should r3 my 6*? i can use 5*.cheaper in iso also. just use r4 champions. there are alsovery good damage boost nodes. they increase damage by lot

Was that the human torch with power gain and regen? What counters were you trying, that path in particular is very strategy based if you bring the wrong champions it can be very tough

I decided to try with Nick Fury, I understand that you wanna bring a science champion for it, but all I have is CapIW and Void, and since I have a bad time evading his SP1 last hit, I decided to use Fury and try to push him to SP2s that I can easily dodge. Thanks to the bleeds, any smoulders on him would become much less of a problem. CapIW has purify and Void is immune, but Void does energy damage on SP1, which means smoulders (and for such a long fight, potentially an eventual Flame On which would be dangerous). Looking back at it, CapIW would probably be my best option from Science class, yes.

Anyway I had a pretty good results with Fury, so I wanted to stick with him. HT was dropping and I was consistently outdamaging the Vigor node. The trouble was in the powergain. At one point, HT always decided to pretty much hold block and wait for SP3. My idea was to somehow KO him w Fury at the cost of a portion of my hp but this strategy of his forced me into my second life, which I wanted to avoid because there are multiple skill champs on that line (Ronin and Masacre I believe), where I could use that "same class intercept = petrify" node, so I wanted to save every hp I could.

You can’t trigger flame on with an incinerate immune champion unless you push him to sp3.

Flame on needs both 7 incinerates and 20 temperature, if either of those criteria aren’t met it won’t trigger. You can’t get 7 incinerates on you with an incinerate immune champ.

Void will work perfectly for it. That’s why it’s taking so long for you, you aren’t using the node to your benefit. Take in the same class champ for every fight and a couple intercepts sorts out each fight

I was confused too. I used to beat the map 5 HT with void all the time leaving the regen link up. He only goes to if you can he can place incinerate on you or he throws sp3.

Sounds like your problem isn’t the health pools, it’s that you aren’t understanding the interactions between certain characters and abilities.
Powergain and regen human torch? That’s just begging you to use void quite frankly.

Intercepts give you big ol' stacking furies. Drop a special when you have 2-3 of them and you'll do easily enough to bust that shield.

I haven't come across any fights that take any longer than 7.1. They are virtually the same health pools.

I really like Act 7. I have a deep roster, so for the harder paths I can strategize counters and such. I also like how there is a lot of skill-based paths, where you have to perform moves in certain orders to place or remove debuffs.

I am two-thirds thru it.

For me .. the shorter paths, shorter fights and the choice node before the boss .... and not to mention being able to choose which boss i go at for a second and third time. that is a HUGE part of my enjoyment being able to choose the boss i double up on.

Once you get a few op champs like CGR and Ghost and throw on suicides the fights wont take much time at all.

@Bulmkt Hey pal. If you have him, I honestly found Prof-X to be great for many phases of the fight, especially the IW phase. Once he has 25 charges, he gains vigilance and can't miss, so you can dash right back in when she goes invisible after her sp1. Bonus, once you get him up to 75 and put the mind control on her, you can cycle sp1 pretty quick, each getting bigger damage from the prowess buff.

You're obviously beyond the Emma Frost phase, but he's great for that too with the immunity to reverse controls.

Aarkus was the worst phase in my opinion, and again, Prof-X was my go to there. Put the mind control on her to keep her from throwing so many specials to avoid the coldsnap damage.

@Bulmkt For what it's worth, after my first couple passes, and getting into the groove, I started carrying Apocalypse and Cable for the lane clearing. Enter a fight with Apocalypse, and get those 4 charges right away. Even if he dies, you can spend the revive to bring him back. It'll leave you three other champs for the lane clearing, then after the first champ swap, Prof-X for Cable. Put the Horseman buff on Prof-X and let him fight Gwenpool. At the second champ swap, I would swap Nick Fury for Apocalypse. Now you have a fresh Prof-X as a Horseman (even bigger special damage from the prowess), and a Fury you can kill off to give Prof-X a 20% attack boost.

I do own a R5 5* Prof X and I managed to get to within 10 armours. I’ll take on board what you have said and try again

I don't think so. They need to get rid of the juice path (which gives you 300% attack boost) because it makes things too easy.
