Except they may have altered the synergy based on who won. Maybe Guilly had a really bad synergy at first and then she got this great synergy after antman won as a consolation!

That’s silly. I doubt they even anticipated her getting into the final since she is more or less the most viable out of all the options. In the past they have reduced synergies once their buffs come along, like Colossus+Emma Frost. 20% power gain per armor wasn’t a ton for pre-buff colossus but now that we can get like, 60 armor ups in a long fight with the guy that synergy is overboard and obviously got nerfed. If anything presuming Guilly won they will nerf the synergy if it makes her too broken with the buff.

Predicting this vote is going to be tough. Largely because you had to put in effort to grind ballots rather than just clicking a vote button, so it’s just as much about how fervently people wanted the rework as it is about how many people wanted it.

I guess we'll find out who's right when they announce it. There is no way they buff Guilly to the level of Collosus or Mags and give her a powerful synergy like that. If she had won, they would have altered the synergy.

Or they will alter the synergy when they actually know the specific kit they want to give her.

The thing you aren’t understanding is the time frame. They probably have a fair idea of what they want to do for each AM and G, but they have definitely not finalized it or coded for anything yet, as the buff isn’t going to be released until fall. Why would they alter a synergy before Guilly is any good? That makes no sense.

Another timeframe related issue: they knew who won like a week or two ago. That isn’t nearly enough time to redo a whole synergy and run all sorts of debug stuff, and even then they would probably want to wait until FALL so they could see exactly how she shapes up with the buff, assuming she even got it.

Once again, I am not saying who won but I am saying that just because she got a good synergy doesn’t necessarily mean she lost.

Edit: and there is no way to “find out who’s right when they announce it” unless a dev says “we gave her this good synergy because she lost”. Well, I take that back. If Ant Man wins it still doesn’t prove your point unless they say that, but if Guilly wins it does prove my point that the synergy did not mean she lost.

I'm sure they already have a plan on what her buff would consist of, especially considering Guilly's one of their own creations and considering the fact that she has been on two seperate buff polls

Why would they? If they'd put in the time to work out an idea for her buff, they wouldn't put her on a poll, they'd just do it. Else why waste time on that?
