Apocalypse can solo Gauntlet's Korg

We can all agree that Korg is the hardest fight for those who don't have Quake, Professor X, Ghost or Proxima.



What makes Korg a problem? ❌


▪️Mix Master, he evades if you repeat the same action

▪️Gauss Warp, that makes his block penetration massive

▪️Flux Dispersal, each hit landed reduces the damage that he takes by 5%

▪️Korg's Thorns

▪️Korg's Tenacity


What makes Apocalypse a viable counter? ✅


▪️ Apocalypse prevents Purify, so you can parry him freely and do LLL combos

▪️ Apocalypse reduces evade chance by up to 100%, that means Mix Master is deleted

▪️ Apocalypse's concussion reduces the chance of Block Penetration by up to 70% (after the SP3), that alone is huge!

▪️ Apocalypse's concussion also reduces the chance of Thorns by 70%

It's not a easy fight but Apocalypse counters every single annoyance there!

    Yep that was who I used. He’s an excellent counter to korg on mix master in general for AQ or AW as well.

    To this point, I used Big Daddy Apoc for a lot of the gauntlet.

    He counters a lot of fights there. Then you make Archangel a Horseman and he shreds Mojo, Sasquatch and Killmonger 😎

    Ramped aegon can do it as well. Used mine over apoc for the fight

    Depends on who you know how to use. If you can use prof x well, then he is good. I used apoc and I had already ramped up his evade prevention in spiderham fight, so it was a very easy fight.

    If u're good with Prof X then him....otherwise Apoc or Aegon if his combo has been built at least above 500

    I would recommend apoc. Very uncomplicated playstyle. Aegon above 500 combo is next and last is prof x.

    Correct me if im wrong but it seems like there may be no need to even have prof x on the team then if apoc can cover spam/korg and other defenders
