I’m going to tell this story like a timeline of events. It’ll span over a few weeks but most of it is over the last 24 hours, and keep in mind I’m FTP. Yesterday, I had 10 paths left in 7.1 and 92% of a mutant T5CC formed.
Mid-June: I’m at 200 units, finishing up classes for the year, thinking I can maybe hit 1,000 units by the 4th, and hope that there’s a T5CC 10% crystal or selector.
June 20-27: Was away with no cell service.
July 1st: I was at 600 units, thinking if I really grinded I could get to 1,000 by the end of the weekend.
July 2nd, 12:55 PM: I was at 800 units. I was going to check the offers and maybe grind for another 200 units if they were good.
1:00 PM: Saw the offers, said screw this, no way I’m buying any of these.
1:30 PM: Feeling somewhat mad that I’d been grinding for a while to just end up probably spending my units on cav crystals.
2:00 PM: Saw a bunch of forum posts about people getting thronebreaker.
2:15: Decided to take a swing at the Extinction Protocol path in 7.1.2.
5:00: I had finished 6 more paths in 7.1
10:00: Went to sleep with just 3 paths left
7:00 AM: Woke up and took out the first 2 paths easily.
8:00: Took my first attempt at my last path, the Spite/Tranquility Path, and epically failed.
10:00: Had maybe done about 8 or so run-throughs of the path, and just failed so badly.
11:00: Decided to make a forum post to ask for tips.
12:00: Finished up the final path, and got that sweet T5CC selector, and picked mutant.
12:30: After a short nap to recover from all the adrenaline, I ranked up Mags to get thronebreaker.
12:45: Opened my 6* Nexus and a 6* Crystal. Crystal gave me Blue Cyclops. This was the nexus:
Overall, pretty fun experience in getting thronebreaker. 7.1 and 7.2 are so much fun. I’m so so excited for Carina’s Challenges.
