Who is the biggest Swiss Army Knife? (most utility)

JuggerNotJuggerNot Member Posts: 432 ★★
I haven't made this a poll because it's very difficult to compare the value of utility because there are so many abilities that present some form of it. How do you compare Angela's damaging debuff immunity to Falcon's lock-on? Or to Quake's quakiness? It's extremely subjective, so let's just accept that.

In your experience, which individual champion has been able to cover the most bases when completing content or just in aq/aw?
(Aside from just raw damage)

    BWCV is up there too
    - bleed /poison/incinerate immunity
    - life steal
    - power steal
    - burst damage
    - nullify buffs
    - make opponent buff immune
    - huge sp3 damage with 20 CV charges
    - power gain against bleed /poison/incinerate immune champs

    Cool animations.

I always knew her sp3 did a lot of damage and ate up her charges, but realized today that those are where the damage comes from

As much as I didn't expect myself saying this, Human torch has been making to my questing/ Aw teams always nowadays. He has a great kit, and would definitely say he could be one of the most used AW attackers.

Incinerate, Nova flames and power stings. Simple kit, yet super effective out there.

Has to be Bwcv, G99 and warlock.
Insane amount of utilities that can be used in different and wide scenarios.
I will go with BWCV if I to choose one though, I think her utilities covers more ground

    Guardian
    -power drain on light combo
-big armor buff to counter havok
    -80% bleed resistance
    -8500 energy resistance
    -can block unblockable Mutant specials
-75% chance to autoblock all specials
    -reduces crit damage rating
    -doesn't crit
    -taunt on sp1
-top 5 block proficiency(parries are perfect)
-All that resistance makes him tanky as ####
-ability to gain more armor buffs
    -can parry projectile's

    Same here

Depends on how you classify it. If it is on number of abilities that come in useful for different situations, probably Warlock, Cap IW, etc. If you consider single abilities that cover the most ground, it’s hard to compete against champs like Quake and her concussions, Ghost and her phasing, Magneto and his magnetized, etc.

As amazing as torch is, I wouldn’t say he’s a Swiss Army knife - which implies a lot of uses everywhere. Torch is a fantastic champ, but he’s a situational champ. You wouldn’t take him in as a counter for a whole path, unless that whole path was mystic/energy damage/massive healing. What he does, he does incredibly well, but that’s not what a Swiss Army knife champ is.

While I agree with what you're saying, I actually do find myself using him in many places which are not just energy-attack champs, mystics, and healing.

I'm not trying to oppose your statement. This was just the opinion of a person who's playing tier 12-13 war.

    Apocalypse?
    -poison, weakness, degen, concussion
-> potency can be doubled, can make them permanent
    ->good for diss track
    -passive damage overtime
-butst damage for armor and physical resistance nodes
    -regen via awakened ability
    -synergy GOD
    -bleed
    -bleed/incinerate/disorient immun (after 8 sec)

    You forgot:

Can stun through block with 4 charges
    Debuffs cannot shrugged off
Evade Counter as he ramps through quest
Stun immune at 3 plus charges

Im sure hes also disorient immune as well.

    (high Sig) Angela imo
    - plenty of buffs (unique and stackable as well)
    - autoblock counter
    - parry noncontact hits
    - nullify resistance (buffet, power snack, pilfer are a joke. Every other cosmic or buff heavy champ would get neutered)
    - Armor to counter havok
    - Armor break on specials per buff (rising sun, Icarus multiplies the Armor breaks to devastating effect)
    - I haven't even mentioned the debuff resistance yet. That ability is simply too overpowered.

I find new uses for her daily. Pretty sure there's a lot I'm missing.

I recently awakened and ranked up mine, she's certainly amazing.
Doesn't work against stagger though. I took her against Sym and nearly died
