1 Gold Event Booster

Yesterday I was in a rush, I got a message about the event booster, I pressed Claim (I don't know what I claimed, was it the 7 days or 1 gold?).

Looking at my milestones, I don't appear to have gained any more. I've looked through the store and can't find a booster for 1 gold. Can anyone shed any light on it?

Go to the store, go to summer canteen, scroll down to the bottom.
Should be there.

I've found it. In the Summer Canteen, at the very bottom of the list.

This is typical Kabam. Why not just claim it with the Claim button?!

Why not just read the letter that came with it? It clearly says what to do exactly

Because you know what this is about, you're expecting it, you press Claim. I assume now you're "claiming" 1 gold. What. Is. The. Point. Just claim the booster in the mail, done!

Kabam's strategy on literally everything is:

Claim A
To get B
To spend on C
To convert to D
To combine with E and F
To get G

So straightforward.

Look at the token system on this summer event. Buy more than one of the first 4 items and you've literally ruined the rest of the event for yourself.

Kabam builds in multiple "gotchas" to every event, just baiting you to make a mistake. It's tiresome, no other game developer, that I'm aware of, does this.

If you enjoy this nonsense, good for you.

I know kabam may not have intended it as such, but I see this as a savage reply for all the complaining. They could have easily sent 7 glasses in the mail and claiming it could have increased the milestone count. Instead they sent out 1 gold, as if no one has 1 gold, claim it and make make you buy the tokens from the store.
That being said, the event itself it not that complicated. You have all of 98 days to work it out. The first 4 items are for people who are below uncollected. You need to be atleast uncollected to start claiming the stuff after that. Everyone gets 14 tokens. This is one way of restricting items by title.

Seriously?.. they are giving you 7 days for free and a grace period and you are complaining about scrolling about 1 inch with your finger?
