[MERGED] Parry Issue Fix

I think I’ve identified the issue with Parry. It seems it was a delayed reaction with the Ebony Maw buff, where he’s still subpar. I think another buff would fix the issue 🤓

I think I'm going to have to only play what I need to. Get in for AQ and *maybe* 10 easy arena matches so I don't completely lose the thread in the summer event but that's it. I don't want to not play this game because I enjoy it, but I haven't been enjoying it since this bug, which is more than rare for me.

Hopefully they'll figure out something soon. In the meantime, if I'm not playing often, it doesn't make sense to renew the sigil or the unit daily card until I am so may hold on those when they're up as well. This isn't a boycott - I'd jump back on them when this is fixed - but it just doesn't make sense to spend that money if I'm dialing back my play big time

Not that the post changes anything I wrote. I'm gonna chill on the game a bit until they have it fixed. That didn't give a time table but a test. But glad they're getting close

Can we please just not have aq until the bug is fixed? A comp package is nice but it doesn’t help how much of a pain aq is with the bug especially when you factor in modifiers, etc.

They haven’t fixed anything yet. It hasn’t even been tested in beta.

So..... What would you have them do? Not let people that are having the issue no test it? Test it in their own environment where they didn't have the issue? You guys are ridiculous.

I don’t mind testing for them at all. A lot of us tested the big patch after update 15(?) back when devices were overheating and it helped get that fixed finally. Like many others that have played this game for a long time and/or love it, I’m invested in trying to make it the best it can be. I’d do it every month prior to release if they’d let me. 😁

I would love for them to test everything upfront in such a manner because the way it is being done now how not be effective. I can wait an extra month to roll out new items if that means taking bugs down my at least half.

As we know, week 4 of summer of pain was extended. But i made it before the extention took place. And now the „100%“ - Label is gone. Does this mean that i can do week 4 again and earn a Point again? Or is the Extension only for those player who didnt made through before?

I believe it was indicated that the extra point will be removed with no penalty.

I think there is another linked issue. I thought I was just imagining it, but defenders are able to attack before specials have finished.

I was doing Cav EQ, fighting Yellowjacket with Apoc. I launched my Sp1. Yellow jacket dashed at me while the Sp1 was still firing the beam and hit me. I wish I had video of it.

I have noticed this other times as well. Defenders will get knocked down from a Special and will get up before the animation for the special ends.

The game is near unplayable right now.

We could really use an update on this.

For me on the android device about 30% of my fights pause in the middle of a combo once per fight. I haven't been hurt by it yet because I play as normal as soon as it unpauses but that's an issue.

Also, the special 3 bug is back to where you can launch a special 3 and then you get hit before you can block or dash back. This only happened to me once recently so it might be champion specific.

I just lost my 6* r3 aegon to a map 5 aq section 3 rhino.

‘‘Twas so fun to miss my parry and stand there while rhino used aegon like a punching bag. With totally unresponsive controls and when I did have control I couldn’t parry or block.

You got a great product here.

I know we got compensation ya da ya da....

I don’t want compensation I want to run aq. And aw. Content etc.... without being worried which game I’m playing.one that works or one that dose not,

And I thought I was getting used to new parry. Until I wasn’t.

I had 95% health when I went into that fight. And about 240 on my combo meter.

This this this 1000%.

I’ve counseled patience. I’ve been nice about the stuff we’ve gotten for AQ dysfunction. I’ve stuck up for mods trying to manage the discussion.

But I’m just tired of it. I’m trying to hit SoP objectives on a mini and it’s ridiculously bad. Parry timing when the AI is on the right side of the screen feels different from when the action shifts downscreen to the left side.

Honestly, all timed content should just be paused until they get a full confirmation everything is fixed. All expirations of items paused. I’d probably suggest a daily apology replete with a batch of 4-hour crystals so the expiration isn’t an issue too.

I’ve lost most of my enjoyment now, I was frustrated before but the fun is gone. It just doesnt feel rewarding ending a fight when taking a combo or 2 because of parry and dex failing. I hope we can see a bigger compensation pack health wise and revive wise but overall I would just like joy in the game again.
