Arena AI being super passive and awkward

Anyone else experiencing a super passive, awkward-timing AI? I know Kabam updated the arena AI near the end of 2020 to specifically address that, making the AI more aggressive and more likely to throw specials. Have they reverted that now? Or is it possibly a bug?

AI always crazy in arena sometimes they just stand there and other times they go berserk and I can barely get a hit in. They just parry like crazy and hit you soon as you release block.

I literally just posted the same in my alliance chat. Missed every party because they just sat blocking and then attacked at weird times.

Arena AI has always been like that. Y’all don’t understand the sheer levels of dissatisfaction and irritation of fighting in arenas with Starky while trying to gain charges whilst the opponent just refuses to attack into you.

Wanna talk about awkward AI?What about oscillate?That ones horrible.Aggressive but not aggressive enough with the fury, and defensive but not defensive enough with the armour up.I hate it so much.

I was about to make a post about this. I've lost my streak twice because AI won't throw specials, do some weird start and stop movements and their attack timing is just so slightly off to mess your parry and dex.
Let's not even talk about special intercepting right from block.
And no it has not always been like this. This started with the new update
