I've been avoiding Chapter 3 of the monthly because nothing works. are we "supposed" to get anything before the monthly timer runs out? I don't know if I should try and waste, possibly, resources or wait and try to do it in the last day or two. Sorry if this has already been answered, I may have missed it, thanks!

When it comes to normal content, players could theoretically hold off until the bug is fixed and then Kabam could give out a bunch of energy refills to allow player to catch up as part of one big compensation package. It is not a perfect solution but it is something. Normally Kabam gives out compensation for game disruptions only after the disruption is fixed, so they know the scope of the problem. For solo content, this is still something that is reasonable to do.
One query—if the “avoid difficult content” warning still applies, why not keep all SoP quests open from the bug inception to now?

Not affected by the bug myself and I think Kabam has done a good job communicating and trying to be transparent but I do think they shoulda thrown some reg pots/vives in there for those that that are getting screwed in timed events(sop,eq sq,more I might have missed). While some may say "there's always next month" for the rewards

2. Why should those players affected be penalized for a defect in the BASIC MECHANICS OF THE GAME? If it was one mode,aq/aw,then OK ,hold off, but if I'm not mistaken this affects everything.

I have no stakes but think about the beginner players. This could really turn a lotta newer players off also. "Just opened parry and it doesn't even work😑"
I think they'll give a good comp but it may be too late for a lot of players for certain things.just my 2 cents

For new players, they’ll get used to this quickly since they’ll probably think that they messed up their timings and it’s always been like this. The problem for them will be AFTER the problem is fixed since they were used to the messed up timings since the game started, and now they have to block a bit later than they used to.

the glory and the potions are amazing, but I should start using those potions cuz some of them are already in overflow (cuz I'm stupid enough to use the solo ones and keep forgetting about the team ones lol)

Wasn't thinking so much about artifacts. More Health pots and revives. Those cost double what they do in solo content. And if you screw up, you're not just letting yourself down, but also your partner.

You can say, just don't do incursions. Fine, but there are new artifacts on offer every 5 days. If every time there is an issue and Kabam simply just forgets about incursions, maybe they should reconsider whether they're serious about the game mode.

At the moment, I just chill and go to sector 8 and room 5, it gets me the milestones no fuss.

As for an impact to arena, if you miss a parry in arena, you would have to already be in a bad state for it to end you. If you miss it in high level solo content or incursions, the attack values and nodes are so stacked - chances are you won't recover.

Either way, it would be nice to them address all modes in the post mortem.

The regular pots, units, revives etc will come in the main compensation package.

The glory, AQ revives and pots etc are for the current cycle of AQ only (which is why they’re all AQ specific items and why we get one set each time a new cycle starts).

We can choose to spend no money on a broken, poorly maintained game like this one, or to spend less money. Kabam is not giving compensation out of the goodness of their heart. They are trying to prevent us from getting mad and choosing to play another game or stop spending money. We should get far more compensation for all the problems, but we won’t as long as enough of their customers are satisfied with the crumbs they are giving us.

That's exactly my thought. Like I get they're giving compensation out and I appreciate it but why are we not getting normal pots. This bug is affecting every other game mode 🤨
Kabam is continuing to recommend that players avoid difficult content where possible until the bugs have been resolved. I am guessing that Kabam is acknowledging that this is something individual players can do relatively easily, but alliances cannot as easily do across the alliance when it comes to AQ, so compensation is currently targeting AQ.

But with AQ that's much trickier because it can be more difficult to coordinate map changes in an alliance, and potions might only be necessary while the bug exists. If you wait until the bug is fixed and then give a big pile of potions at the end players will first have to spend units to buy potions to use now, then they'll get a bunch of potions in compensation they won't need anymore. So instead of waiting to the end, they are feeding players smaller AQ compensation packages to hand them some potions to use going into AQ if they are still having problems in AQ and stepping down to avoid those issues is impractical, plus extra glory for alliances who are stepping down to try to compensate for the bugs.

This is just a guess, but it seems reasonably likely to me.

Maybe @DNA3000 was prophetic and the real reason Kabam has nerfed energy refills across story content is because a huge compensation is coming to allow us to catch up!

@Kabam Miike is that what you were alluding too when you said the “ While it's not a problem that there are some areas of the game that you can replay to find some items and resources, there shouldn't be a space where it's consistently more profitable on energy than what is used. This is not sustainable for Energy.”
