[MERGED] Parry Issue Fix

I think I’ve identified the issue with Parry. It seems it was a delayed reaction with the Ebony Maw buff, where he’s still subpar. I think another buff would fix the issue 🤓

Game freezes in the middle of a dash, and its choppy as hell, the previous beta version was working much better

Any update on when this fix is actually supposed to come though because right now this game is borderline unplayable. It's actually gotten SIGNIFICANTLY WORSE for me since the update the other day as now not only is parry timing completely off but the game randomly starts buffering mid fight.

I know we are hoping that the fix will be out soon. In the meantime, summoners are still doing summer of pain, a new monthly quest, and other long term content. Any chance there will be another batch of potions coming out soon for those players who need them to progress?

The game is dying. I will not buy anything until it is fixed. I did not renew my everyday collector card with units, I changed my mind in bying summoner resort pass. I don't think I will renew summoner sigil.. I do not see the reason of paying money to something that does not work. This is piece of ****, not a game...
Thank you Kabam, I will spend these money on flowers for my wife. You cannot fix the bug for more than month... I think it is over..

SOP couldn’t be anymore fun if you tried, Emma boss with armor break immunity, reverse controls and oscillate, plus the latest node: DROPPED INPUTS sweeeeet 😂
There’s not an aspect of the game that doesn’t feel broken. Even my special solo objectives are failing to register which I assume is part of the input issue, but who knows or cares at this point.
Came back, to comment about this, SOP Emma Frost is impossible to solo with the dex/parry bug. I gotta be able to get some reliable reparries to give Emma power, and even then inputs lag the game more making character reaction slower. Hopefully it’s patched this week or I’m not going to be able to fight through the bugs on this Emma.

Want to confirm that we are investigating this on our end. If you have the time and the answers to the following questions, it could help us find the root of the issue.
When did parry fail when previously it wouldn't? Was it an early parry? a late parry?
What were the effects of parry failing? Did you get hit into the block? did you not block at all and get hit instead?
Did you see the character block before you took the hit?
Do these parry issues occur when you try to re-parry or the first-time parry?

When parry fails I get attacked or my champs will dash forward into a special. Or I’ll block to early and my champs will still dash forward into an attack or a special.

Do these parry issues occur when you try to re-parry or the first-time parry?

Logged in for the first time in a week and it's unbelievably worse!

Couldn't make it up, sprinkle on some objectives that involve doing the EQ on all levels when most of us couldn't get through last months at all.

Oh kabam you are sooooo devilish, like I didn't even get to spar with chavez last month and EQ was binned, losing tons on materials on fluffed AQs and no wars is killing the shards!

Now I can't log off for a week again without it costing me on the summer event, greaaaaaat!!!

I've stopped doing SOP as many have said it's not gonna get a fix before it's finished and I ain't 5 spending Jack on this game again.

After one month of beta, lot of screenshots and messages finally the new version…..doesn’t works. And we have not news, timeline, informations, nothing. Since this bug is (I think) the biggest one, you should informs us about any little improvements, some potions are not enough to keep high joy on game play.
We need updates!

What is it with AQ centric rewards constantly being provided as compensation for this issue? Surely standard questing revives and potions are more/equally as justified given the content like SoP that we are working through.... add to that the constant lagging and screen freezes mid fight... if I was at all cynical I would think Kabam is trying to make money off this issue by forcing us to spend units to complete these tasks...
Maybe just add a nodes like called "parry's" stuffed" and "random freeze" and just be transparent about it...

I am telling you, they know what changes to the ai lead to the issue. They are trying to fix it without undoing the work they put in. I could be wrong but it just comes across to me that when measuring our discontent vs their lost investment in development, their cost is and always has been top priority

I would not necessarily constrain the problematic changes to the AI that deals with characters' dynamics. It appears that parts of the original touch screen interface code and the underlying processing of different game modes were tinkered with. Additionally, there is a big gap between the minimal hardware and software specs the product team believes are needed for the game to run and reality. Also, just think for a moment about all the reported conflicts between declared fight mechanics and fight mechanics actually implemented in the game. This is all indicative of a substantial accumulated technical debt.

Hi MCOC Team @Kabam Miike @Kabam Zibiit and all Members, I am curious to know by when shall we be expecting a fix for the Parry and Dex Issue as fighting champs is getting More and More complicated ...
We are currently in 8th week of SOP and it's ridiculous to see the AI behaviour different along with the Parry/Dex bug making it more complicated.. I m concern whether if the fix is not out before the final Boss of SOP followed by a Boss rush with a time of two weeks.. how do we complete the challenge.. this will definitely give an upper hand to those that are not facing the issue with the rest of us forcing to use plenty revives and pots and overall units to clear this content...
[ I m not Asking/Speaking for compensation ] but just want the game to be fixed before the final boss of SOP is released or the Max before the boss rush so everyone can enjoy the game equally... Else please give a tentative date as to when it shall be fixed... SOON is not word I am looking for... As I m seeing this from a long time but it's never coming... I know u Guys are working hard for the Fix but any update would be great regarding the fix .. Thanks and good luck.... Love playing and enjoying Marvel Contest of champions.

The best example is fighting this month’s eq chapter 1 boss sentry . He goes unblockable after a while , so , if u don’t dex u at the right time , u get hit . I could never dex back in time . Very poor reaction from the champ , definitely a few milliseconds late ! Just revert back to version 30 . I lost top prestige players from the alliance

This is completely unacceptable. I held onto the beta until the new content dropped on Wednesday. With the beta, things weren’t perfect but they were like 90% better. Why they didn’t put that fix in this version is beyond my comprehension. The game is unplayable for any content where your team can’t just brute force through pure hp and attack advantage over the ai.
