I’am trying to use Proxima for female objective but there is always a time where a parry fails and i take 20k damage per hit on my 28k hp proxima…
This bug put the SOP beyond frustration !
You know you have the skill, maybe not the better, but enough to take down that b…, but you loose because a parry or dexterity fail 🤬
Is there just one solo fight left before the unannounced event on the 18th?
Seems annoying to have to wait till after the boss rush if that doesn’t contribute to milestones.
for those of us who achieve the maximum score next Wednesday. what would be the point of waiting for the whole event to finish to collect the prizes?
You are vastly underestimating how complicated this parry bug is. It isn’t a case of one line of code being wrong “Parry = not_working”. Kabam have updated their game engine and it’s caused a massive amount of complex timing issues with parry.
You’re also seeing this in a very short sighted, black and white way. You’ve got the dynamic of the situation all wrong, it’s not Kabam vs Players. A bug is not pro-player or pro-Kabam. Any particular bug has a negative impact on Kabam, they do not want bugs in the game. This parry bug does not make Kabam any more money, people are unhappy and don’t want to spend as much.
Do you really think that many players go into act 6 or abyss with this bug and think wow I’m gonna buy an Odin I just got KOd? Sure there are some, but what’s more likely is they just feel unhappy with the game and feel angry and less likely to spend now, or in the future. Players are less likely to push content right now, and even though some still will, it’s not a plus for Kabam. They don’t care if one player drops $20 to push content, if ten players won’t spend $50 on the next offer because they’re upset with the state of the game.
Kabam need to send out compensation for bugs as game- breaking as the parry bug. That is bad for them, I am now absolutely fit to bursting with AW potions that I’ve managed to buy with glory. I’ll be set for seasons to come with that backlog. No need to spend units on them.
This parry bug IS negatively affecting Kabam, like I said, it’s not the case that a bug necessarily only affects the players or Kabam, it’s a very limited way to view it. A very good vs evil, black/white, them/us way. It’s not just affecting us, it’s affecting Kabam too, and to insinuate that they want it in the game, is just a little childish and tin foily.
So that blows your “not producing” point out of the water. Unless you mean they haven’t fixed this parry bug yet, when you know that they have ran a beta in the last few weeks trying to get a fix for the bug. And we’ve already established that Kabam don’t want this bug in the game, so it’s not like they’re prolonging it purposely just to annoy us. So what exactly is your point, other than being annoyed?
I get it, it is annoying and you want someone to blame. But at the end of the day, nobody at Kabam wants this bug here, and no players want it here. Kabam are working to fix it, so perhaps you should reconsider your attitude when it comes to bugs, it’s not you vs Kabam and you don’t need to see it as such
I mean this with no disrespect intended but have you had much experience with coding? Because I can tell you it’s much more complex than some people believe. I’m no game developer, but from what I know about the coding I’ve done, and from what I’ve listened to from DNA and the Kabam team when they’ve talked about it, there is a hell of a lot that can go wrong when you add in new content.
You have code that is potentially years old, written by employees that could no longer work there, and you have no idea if you add this new champion/make this update/ add this content whether it could clash with some old code that had been written. It’s lovely to imagine a world where Kabam make a new update and no bugs are there, but realistically it’s not going to happen. All we can hope for is that the bugs aren’t as game-wide as this parry bug, and Kabam get a fix out soon.
They are literally hiring and spending money on the employees who are currently running the game and their job is to find and fix these bugs, which they are doing as fast as they can, since a buggy game is not a good game for anyone. If you have the experience and knowledge to do better, by all means, instruct away or offer up your services. But right now, you seem like any other guy complaining at Kabam to fix all bugs, write better code, I bet they want bugs, they planned this, they only fix pro player bugs. It’s a look that says “I don’t care about the facts and truth of the situation I just want to be angry”. And trust me, while I understand your situation, it’s not a good look.
Actually, there is one reason. Kabam doesn't make any money off of MCOC. Kabam was purchased by Netmarble, and it is Netmarble that actually makes all that money. They paid a reported $800 million US for the company, I would expect them to keep all the revenue. Kabam developers cannot just stick their hand in the cash bucket and hire more people. They don't get to make those decisions. And Netmarble isn't going to spend all the MCOC revenue on tons of developers, because they have to make a return on that $800 million investment. Also, Disney expects their cut every quarter, and it probably isn't a small cut.
And even if they could just spend money hiring more developers, you can't just go out and hire developers. More people isn't necessarily better. MCOC is a custom gaming framework sitting on Unity, plus custom tool chains, plus a custom game client. It takes months for someone to get any good at it, and every person you hire means less productive time as you siphon time away from the people who know what they are doing to train the people who don't know what they are doing. Almost everyone currently qualified to work on MCOC is actually currently working on MCOC.
No one is forgetting. However, that has nothing to do with claiming that they only fix bugs that help players. That's you being angry and thinking that anger justifies saying anything bad about the target of your anger regardless of whether it is true or not. It does not.
why are they given the unfair advantage to get better rewards over me? complete and total joke to screw lower ranked players youre just gonna hurt cavalier and lower favoring thronebreakers with better rewards for same event! please make the rewards fair fand equal for all!!! id really love to win to gwt to milestone #11 but oh wait kabam says nope you cant thanks appreciate the screwing
Getting TB comes with a bunch of extra bonuses, and if you give players an endgame event where Cav players get exactly the same as TB some TB players will start to wonder if it was actually worth getting TB, and Cavs will wonder if it’s worth pushing.
That feeling you have right now, where you want better rewards, that is the entire point of segmenting the player base. That is your incentive to push to get thronebreaker.
