Masteries don‘t change your Top Champion because they do not count. Other players always see your Top 4 Prestige Champs, only you yourself can see that picture.

I guess for other players Doom always was your profile pic in Chat.

@WOLF_LINK is correct. Everyone else saw doom first anyways. Everyone else sees them highest prestige first. The user sees highest power index rating. So while it changed for OP, it didn’t change for others.
