Parry against skill champs

Are there new feature with certain skill champs like Elektra Blade Ultron and Doom skill bots Punisher Falcon and several others, says parry but does not parry them? Is that still same
Parry issue that has been out with the in game emails? All others it seems to work against, except for skill champs, and it works intermittently only if I hear the ring I know it definitely works otherwise it it pops on the screen and does nothing.
