How is this possible? G99 regens against red mags

Tier 1 war node 17, g99 was able to regen against red magneto how is that possible? I’m curious to understand whether it is a bug or I am missing something

    If you parry at the start of the fight and have pacify unlocked you can prevent magnetize from activating sometimes. But she's a defender and magnetize is active so it's the recovery mastery
