Well... I have BW CV as 5 star sig 30ish rank 4.
And 4 star sig 99 Doom..
I have been using Doom in AQ and recently learning BW CV gameplay.
So.... Who's the best according to you?

Nobody does slow better than her, regen 100% of block damage plus constant regen for sustainability, armour break, passive power gain, power steal to get you out of tough spots, nullification (but she's not your go to buff control champ). She does a really good amount of things really well. She's not as good as Doom, but I'd say without suicides she's as useful as Claire

Not saying she's bad or useless. I might've ranked her if I didn't have Doom, BWCV and Sym supreme, sasquatch.

Just going back to your point on we’d see her more in daily content, I just think she’s not flashy enough for a lot of people. She doesn’t have huge numbers, she just does what she does very, very well but at a slower pace.

I mean how often do you see a claire video? I barely see much about her, but she’s goddam good at what she does. It’s the same with sorcerer.

Nobody wants to see a video of her taking block damage that would take her to 95% health and then regen 5% back to full, but over a fight? That block damage would have had her at 20% health. That’s not flashy gameplay. The flashy gameplay is a special that would take her to 20% in one go, and she regens it all back. But that’s not day to day gameplay.

Same with her slow, armour break and nullify. Nothing about her is flashy, she’s just the pinnacle of reliability. I use her almost every single war, she’s the single best counter for mix master IMO, especially the 3 most common placements of Nick, Apoc and korg.

I don't know why you're making such claims. She's not *best* at anything.

Namor can deal with Nick and Korg just as well.
Apoc is so easy on mix master, any tech can one shot him, just did it this war with Guardian.

Claire's damage sucks lmao. I can't still comprehend why she's being compared to doom. I've been having regrets taking her to r2. Wish I had rank down tickets. It should be between doom and diablo. Not claire

She is really useful in day-to-day content. I used her all the way through 6.3-7.2, for V8, monthly quests, side quests, everything. Her buff control is great, haven't met a fight where I'd be overwhelmed by buffs. Her regen is very potent, it allows me to leave fights with more hp than I went in with pretty consistently.

I know that BVCW has double immunity and Doom has genius powercontrol, but let's be honest: how many times do you need that on day-to-day basis? Sometimes you do but majority of encounters don't require this at all.

My point is that SorSup isn't niche at all as you implied. She is quie the opposite actually

As others have said, it's a pretty clear divide between when you run suicides vs when you don't. Both champs are still really good in their non-ideal mastery setup (Doom absolutely shreds with suicides, but self-melts after a fight or two; Claire has all of her qualities available to her even without suicides, she just does less of everything since everything she does is based on the damage she does).

I still prefer Doom since I think he locks down fights better than Claire does, though. I wouldn't choose him over her if I ran suicides, but I would choose him over her if we took my mastery setup out of the equation.

What 2 immunities do you think BWCV has, and which one were you forgetting? Bwcv also has power control, buff control that bypasses the immunities that they like to put on buffed bosses, etc.

I don't play claire, so I made a mess in her immunities. She has 3 immunities, and she can switch between them, having one active at a time if I am not mistaken.

I agree she has the utility you mentioned. On the other hand tho: how many bosses with nullify immunity were actually in need of being nullified badly? It is mostly really nice to have Claire to bypass the immunity that's true. But those matchups imo are just as easy w SorSup. We are talking daily content, no stuff like Act 6 etc. And with Cav EQ being about the hardest content, 5/65 SorSup deals with it easily.
