champions recovery time from knockdowns

i reported this bug months ago and still didnt get a respond. because of this bug you cant heavy chain some of champions like storm X. this bug has been going on for many months when it's gonna get fixed then?

There have ALWAYS been champs with certain animations that make it impossible for heavy chain due to their recovery times. Go into RoL and try it with OG Storm (and Storm PX's is based off OG Storm) or LoL against Thor JF. In order for this to be "fixed", they'd have to redesign the core move set of these champs and that's not going to happen any time soon.

so what about champs that need heavy chaining? like HB

That part of their kit won't be effective against those defenders. It's no diff than fighting stun immune with a champ that relies heavily on parry/heavy or say using Ghost against a defender that has armor break or miss prevention. Yes, these caveats are a lot more straight forward since you can read nodes and champ abilities to determine if your champ will work against them or not versus having to know "does this champ have super quick animations that will prevent me from heavy chaining?" but it's the same result at the end of the day.

A similar situation is trying to use Killmonger against OG captain Marvel, Ms. Marvel and trying to punish their SP1 to gain true strike - it never works due to their SP1 animations. Same goes with buffed OG Black Panther.

I'm not saying that any of this is "OK" or acceptable, just the reality of the game with certain champs and certain interactions.

EDIT: This issue as well as how HB moves back after every heavy leading to you eventually whiffing your heavy is precisely why I never ranked him up - I just don't want to deal with the inconsistencies and hassle!

Both storm and pyramid x storm seem to have that super quick recovery time after being knocked down. I’ve noticed it vs Guiltone 2099 also. It’s been like this for months but I don’t think there was ever any official reply.

It's like how some champs have heavies that can fully connect in the duration of a parry, like venom, and others can't, like Hyperion.

As annoying as it is, it's just how it works. No way it's gonna get changed.
