Beardo Perfect Block Not Working?

Hopped into the Shang Chi Challenge, and noticed my parries with Beardo weren’t perfect blocks. Thinking this has something to do with Invade. Anyone know anything about this?

He doesn't have that ability. Sometimes it will happen, deppending on the scenario and the luck.

His perfect parries just come from really high block proficiency and not perfect block chance. Invade is 100% the culprit for the damage you are taking.

To expand and what others are saying, caiw has ~75% reduced block damage from his block proficiency which when combined with the 25% damage reduction from the parry mastery he reduces damage by 100%. With invade present he no longer has that 75% reduction from block proficiency.

Can't perfect block Invade, just like you can't perfect block Bubble Shield or Unblockable.

Exactly this. It's a mix of his block prof and max parry. OG Cap however at max sig has stupid high perfect block chance and will work but every fight will take 10 years. Horseman Gambit would be good here tho.

Champs with massive regen works fine also. King Groot for example can help mitigate the damage.

Ok not sure why my previous comment got deleted...
But Horseman Gambit has 100% Perfect Block Chance that isn't based off his Block Proficiency, my R3 Gambit about to be Laughing in it.

You can perfect block unblockable hits, you just need it to glance. Ant-Man once blocked my unblockable attack when it glanced
