Cav EQ is shorter than usual

Just a small observation: Cav EQ is actually shorter than usual.
Normally, by the time you explore 1.1-3.1, you will have explored 72%. This month, you will have have explored 76%. See the screenshot below.

This is because Chapter 2.2, 'Penumbra' has only 5 paths. Whereas normally, Chapter 2.2 will have 6 paths.
Anyway, I was just wondering if this was intentional or a mistake. Cheerio.

Fairly sure 1.2 always has 4 paths.

What am I missing 🤔 I'll check it out when I finish my 3rd path in 3.2. I'm certain the percentage after exploring 1.1-3.1 is 72%, so there must be a reason it's at 76%.

There are a couple paths that have overlaps at the start and finish. It’s basically a rounding error.

The amount of shared nodes controls the percentage.

Consider a map with 4 paths that branch from the start in four different directions. Each path is worth 25%, give or take rounding for the boss.

Now look at a map like the America Chavez 3.2 where you have the same 3 final fights every time. Your percentage is inflated early because those shared nodes count right away.

Yeah I just assumed it's b/c the SQ required energy (and the SQ is pretty long even if it's just 1 energy per).

Hopefully this is a trend going forward because I always felt like some of the paths in EQ were a bit excessive with energy (like 3 or 4 empty spots between defenders, etc.).

I'm not cavalier, but I'm assuming the cost is the same as the other difficulties (as heroic, master and uncollected cost the same for chapter 2 & 3). Paths on chapter 3 usually cost 60 or 63 energy. Paths on chapter 2 usually 36 or 38 and chapter 1 around the same as chapter 2. It varies from month to month.
It's very rare for C3 to cost 57 and C2 to cost 34. Pretty sure I've seen it though.
