Black Cat in Marvel Comics The Black Cat is about to get an Anti-Venom upgrade, and not a moment too soon as she is about to go up against Knull, the god of the Symbiotes. In the solicitation for January’s Black Cat #2, by writer Jed Mackay (Spider-Verse) and artist CF Villa (Lockjaw), we learn that The Black Cat, AKA Felicia Hardy, is going to steal something from Knull, who has control over all symbiotes She is going to need some serious protection for the job, so she gets a serious upgrade from an Anti-Venom suit.
Over the last two years, in the pages of Venom, we have been introduced to Knull. An ancient entity who can control symbiotes, Marvel has been positioning him as a serious, Avengers-level threat. Starting this December the heroes of the Marvel Universe will face off against him in The King in Black. The solicitation did not make clear what exactly Black Cat will be stealing, but if she is going to survive an encounter with Knull, then an Anti-Venom suit will be exactly what she needs; she will have all of Venom’s powers with very few of his weaknesses. The suit also includes healing properties.

No mention is made of where the suit comes from, or what similarities it has with previously seen Anti-Venom suits. Knull is a powerful, god-like being who can control symbiotes, so an Anti-Venom suit is ideal for going up against him. Knull knows the symbiotes' weaknesses and can manipulate them, so having a suit with none of those can also give Black Cat an advantage.

For a time, due to his Secondary Mutation, Quentin evolved into a non-corporeal lifeform existing as a disembodied consciousness as his brain cells turned into faster-than-light energy that was in connection with every sentient being on the planet.[46][47] Since he was freed from his container by Kade Kilgore, he stood in his physical form, finding his non-corporal one boring, and doesn't seem able to use the full range of his abilities. He hasn't manifested these specific qualities since.[10]

Powers Enhanced Mutant Physiology: Colossus is a mutant with the superhuman ability to convert the tissue of his entire body into an organic steel-like substance.[10] This substance resembling steel is of unknown composition but appears to be analogous to osmium and to carbon steel.[10] He is able to transform into this armor-like state at will (the process is virtually instantaneous) and remain in that form for an as yet undetermined amount of time.[10] The longest time he has remained in armored form by choice so far has been five days). Once in his armored form he remains so until he consciously wills himself back to normal.[10] If he is rendered unconscious, however, he spontaneously reverts to his normal form.[99]
Organic Steel Form: While in the armored state, Colossus possesses the same degree of mobility that he does in his normal form, though his endurance and speed are enhanced.[10] The conversion from flesh and bone to organic steel is accomplished by a psionic whole-brain interface with an ionic form of osmium, an extremely dense metal, located in another dimension. In willing the act of transformation, Colossus actually exchanges osmium atoms for his carbon atoms. The psionic interface with the other dimension re-creates all of Colossus's body in functionally similar organic ionic-osmium materials. The process by which Colossus gains additional mass from an unknown, perhaps extra-dimensional, force remains unknown. Colossus cannot become partially or selectively armored; his body is either entirely converted or not.[100][10] Superhuman Strength: After transforming into his armored state, Colossus possesses vast superhuman strength.[10] As a teenager, he was sufficiently strong enough to be listed as a class 70. (This scale is only for comparisons between characters, and should not remotely be taken literally). Powers Laura Kinney is a second generation mutant and possesses powers similar to those of her father, Logan.[citation needed] Laura's accelerated cellular regeneration augments her natural strength, speed, agility, endurance, and reflexes.[citation needed] She has been classified as a severe threat by both the O*N*E[130] and Nimrod.[2]
Regenerative Healing Factor: Like Wolverine, Laura's primary mutant power is an accelerated healing factor that enables her to regenerate damaged or destroyed tissue with far greater speed and efficiency than an ordinary human. She is capable of fully healing injuries resulting in massive tissue damage and blood loss such as multiple bullet wounds, slash wounds, and puncture wounds within a matter of minutes. Her healing factor is developed to such a degree, she is capable of reattaching severed limbs, such as a hand. She has also proven capable of regrowing an entire arm on her own (Elixir was incapacitated at the time).[131] Her healing factor may fluctuate with her psychological state as battle wounds tend to heal very quickly, but her self inflicted cuts appear to remain visible for some time.[citation needed] Foreign Chemical Immunity: X-23's natural healing also affords her the virtual immunity to poisons and most drugs. She can be affected by some drugs, such as tranquilizers, if she is exposed to a massive dose.[citation needed] Disease Immunity: Due to her highly efficient immune system, X-23 is immune to all Earthly diseases and infections.[citation needed] Longevity: Presumably, because Laura is the daughter of the mutant Wolverine, her healing factor will also provide her with an extended lifespan by slowing the effects of the aging process.[127] This was seen during her time in the Vault where time moved much more quickly than time in the outside world. She spent at least 200 years there and was able to maintain her youth to an extent.[11] Superhumanly Acute Senses: Laura possesses superhumanly acute senses that are comparable to those of certain animals. She is capable of seeing at much greater distances — and with perfect clarity — than an ordinary human, and her visual acuity is so refined she is able to see a single Sentinite with her naked eye.[132] She retains this same level of clarity in near-total darkness. In at least one case she reacts to and slices in half with her claws a bullet fired at her face from nearly point-blank range.[133] Superhuman Durability: She was capable of fighting the Hulk without sustaining any severe injuries[39] and surviving energy blasts from Nimrod (even if she required healing and nearly died).[2] Superhuman Stamina: Laura's muscles produce considerably less fatigue toxins during physical activity than the muscles of an ordinary human. She can exert herself at peak capacity for about 24 hours before fatigue begins to impair her.[citation needed] Bone Claws: Lauras's skeleton includes two retractable bone claws in each arm and one in each foot that she can extend and retract at will. These claws are housed beneath the skin and muscle. Unsheathing them causes her skin to tear and bleed, but the wounds are quickly dealt with by her healing factor. X-23 can unsheathe any number of these claws at once, although she must keep her wrists and/or feet straight at the moment the claws emerge. Weaknesses Powerful Energy Blasts: Injuries such as being hit with blasts of energy from Nimrod that caused her to age can't be healed; if she had been hit with it again she most likely would have died.[citation needed]
Self-Harm: Laura has a history of cutting herself with her claws due to feelings of depression and guilt. These wounds heal much slower than injuries inflicted by others. Laura first began practicing self-harm after being forced to kill her sensei as a child, and her arms showed visible scars for some time after.[14]
Muramasa Blade: Like her father and brother, Laura cannot heal from injuries caused the Muramasa Blade because it cuts on a molecular level. However, she is able to heal naturally from such wounds by cutting away the inflicted flesh with any other blade.[107]
Induced Berserker Rage: She has also been subjected to conditioning in which a specific "trigger scent" has been used to send her into a berserker rage, killing anything marked with it. Most often she only kills the person who has been marked, but occasionally she is shown to murder everyone near the scent, even if they do not have any on them.[14][20] She eventually overcame her conditioning to the scent thanks to telepathic therapy from Jean Grey.[140]
He can work as almost all the classes, because he has been different in every series he appears in. He is one of the funnier characters, so the writers would have a fun time incorporating him, and I think the character designers would as well.

The Black Cat is about to get an Anti-Venom upgrade, and not a moment too soon as she is about to go up against Knull, the god of the Symbiotes. In the solicitation for January’s Black Cat #2, by writer Jed Mackay (Spider-Verse) and artist CF Villa (Lockjaw), we learn that The Black Cat, AKA Felicia Hardy, is going to steal something from Knull, who has control over all symbiotes She is going to need some serious protection for the job, so she gets a serious upgrade from an Anti-Venom suit.
Over the last two years, in the pages of Venom, we have been introduced to Knull. An ancient entity who can control symbiotes, Marvel has been positioning him as a serious, Avengers-level threat. Starting this December the heroes of the Marvel Universe will face off against him in The King in Black. The solicitation did not make clear what exactly Black Cat will be stealing, but if she is going to survive an encounter with Knull, then an Anti-Venom suit will be exactly what she needs; she will have all of Venom’s powers with very few of his weaknesses. The suit also includes healing properties.

No mention is made of where the suit comes from, or what similarities it has with previously seen Anti-Venom suits. Regardless of where it came from, Black Cat is going to need all the help she can get. Knull is a powerful, god-like being who can control symbiotes, so an Anti-Venom suit is ideal for going up against him. Knull knows the symbiotes' weaknesses and can manipulate them, so having a suit with none of those can also give Black Cat an advantage.

Yet Knull’s power levels are above and beyond the average symbiote, so there exists a possibility that the Anti-Venom suit may not even work against him. The suit is also partially made of symbiote material, so perhaps this will allow Knull to control it somehow? Knull also has other tools at his disposal; first and foremost among them is the Necrosword, a sword fashioned from the abyss Knull once lived in and capable of killing a Celestial with one swipe.
Another question to ask is how will this impact Black Cat moving forward? Will she keep the suit? It would provide many advantages in her line of work, so it is not beyond the realm of possibility she could keep it. But first, she must survive her encounter with Knull in Black Cat #2

His shield, now a pinkish shiny color was able to withstand the devastating blows of Karnak and other weapons of mass destruction. However his powers became so advanced that his shield began to block out radio waves, sound waves, air, light waves, and other things.[10]

Quentin has been described as an Omega Level Mutant and Omega Level Telepath, a incredibly skilled telekinetic, as well as a Psionic of Highest Order.[4][43][44] Quentin has been described one of the most powerful telepaths, telekinetics, and psions, vastly surpassing the abilities of all known telepaths, with the exception of Jean Grey. Therefore his abilities are almost unmatched. He was also an avatar of the Phoenix Force, and his future self was shown to be the eventual host of the Phoenix Force.[45]
For a time, due to his Secondary Mutation, Quentin evolved into a non-corporeal lifeform existing as a disembodied consciousness as his brain cells turned into faster-than-light energy that was in connection with every sentient being on the planet.[46][47] Since he was freed from his container by Kade Kilgore, he stood in his physical form, finding his non-corporal one boring, and doesn't seem able to use the full range of his abilities. He hasn't manifested these specific qualities since.[10]

The AI will feed off of the memories of anyone in the video-game-like world, making some things even unfamiliar to Quentin himself. After keeping the world formed for several days, he lost control due to his already disturbed psyche and no longer retained complete control over the world.

Enhanced Mutant Physiology: Colossus is a mutant with the superhuman ability to convert the tissue of his entire body into an organic steel-like substance.[10] This substance resembling steel is of unknown composition but appears to be analogous to osmium and to carbon steel.[10] He is able to transform into this armor-like state at will (the process is virtually instantaneous) and remain in that form for an as yet undetermined amount of time.[10] The longest time he has remained in armored form by choice so far has been five days). Once in his armored form he remains so until he consciously wills himself back to normal.[10] If he is rendered unconscious, however, he spontaneously reverts to his normal form.[99]
Organic Steel Form: While in the armored state, Colossus possesses the same degree of mobility that he does in his normal form, though his endurance and speed are enhanced.[10] The conversion from flesh and bone to organic steel is accomplished by a psionic whole-brain interface with an ionic form of osmium, an extremely dense metal, located in another dimension. In willing the act of transformation, Colossus actually exchanges osmium atoms for his carbon atoms. The psionic interface with the other dimension re-creates all of Colossus's body in functionally similar organic ionic-osmium materials. The process by which Colossus gains additional mass from an unknown, perhaps extra-dimensional, force remains unknown. Colossus cannot become partially or selectively armored; his body is either entirely converted or not.[100][10]
Superhuman Strength: After transforming into his armored state, Colossus possesses vast superhuman strength.[10] As a teenager, he was sufficiently strong enough to be listed as a class 70. (This scale is only for comparisons between characters, and should not remotely be taken literally). However, as a fully mature adult, his strength has increased to the point that he is listed at exactly class 100.[10] He was able to hold his own against the Juggernaut,[101] though Juggernaut has also defeated Colossus.[28]
Superhuman Stamina: Also, while in armored form, Colossus' musculature produces considerably less fatigue toxins than the musculature of a normal human. At his peak, he can physically exert himself at peak capacity for several days before the build up of fatigue toxins in his blood begins to impair him.[102] He also does not need to breathe while transformed, but it is believed that he could not survive for long in a vacuum.[10]
Superhuman Durability: In his armored form, Colossus has a high degree of imperviousness to injury.[10] His armored form can withstand ballistic penetration, including that of a 110 millimeter Howitzer shell.[10] He can survive temperature extremes from 70 degrees Fahrenheit above absolute zero (-390 degrees Fahrenheit) to approximately 9000 degrees Fahrenheit.[10] He can survive a collision with a loaded, one ton flatbed truck at 100 miles per hour or an explosion of 450 pounds of TNT.[10] He can also survive falls from great heights while in his armored body.[100][103] Colossus' armored form cannot rust under normal Earth conditions.[10] Furthermore, his eyes become steel-like and allowing his eyeballs to withstand and deflect even the impact of a .45 caliber bullet.[10]

Phasing/Intangibility: Kitty possesses the ability to pass through solid matter and objects by passing her atoms through the spaces between the atoms of the object through which she is moving.[citation needed] In this way she and the object through which she is passing could temporarily merge without interacting, and each is unharmed when Kitty had finished passing through the object.[citation needed] This process is called "phasing." When Shadowcat is phasing, she is, for all intents and purposes, intangible.[citation needed] Hence, when attacked, she can shift into a "phasing" state, even if she is not at the time passing through an object, so as to allow oncoming projectiles or energy blasts to pass through her harmlessly, rendering her virtually untouchable.[citation needed] Kitty passes through objects at the same rate of speed at which she was moving before she "entered" them.[citation needed] Following her serious injuries at the hands of the Marauders during the Mutant Massacre,[115] Kitty's phased state became her natural state.[116][50] She only remained solid by concentrating, and reverted to her phased state if that concentration was disrupted. The limits of the field had not yet been determined, although it was shown to withstand direct hits from an enraged Hulk.[15][5]
Unus inhaled the Terrigen Mist which brought his powers back and evolved them to an advanced degree. His powers were so enhanced that his shield, which was usually invisible, became visible. His shield, now a pinkish shiny color was able to withstand the devastating blows of Karnak and other weapons of mass destruction. However his powers became so advanced that his shield began to block out radio waves, sound waves, air, light waves, and other things.[10]
He has somehow gained his powers back.[13]

Powers
Laura Kinney is a second generation mutant and possesses powers similar to those of her father, Logan.[citation needed] Laura's accelerated cellular regeneration augments her natural strength, speed, agility, endurance, and reflexes.[citation needed] She has been classified as a severe threat by both the O*N*E[130] and Nimrod.[2]
Regenerative Healing Factor: Like Wolverine, Laura's primary mutant power is an accelerated healing factor that enables her to regenerate damaged or destroyed tissue with far greater speed and efficiency than an ordinary human. She is capable of fully healing injuries resulting in massive tissue damage and blood loss such as multiple bullet wounds, slash wounds, and puncture wounds within a matter of minutes. Her healing factor is developed to such a degree, she is capable of reattaching severed limbs, such as a hand. She has also proven capable of regrowing an entire arm on her own (Elixir was incapacitated at the time).[131] Her healing factor may fluctuate with her psychological state as battle wounds tend to heal very quickly, but her self inflicted cuts appear to remain visible for some time.[citation needed]
Foreign Chemical Immunity: X-23's natural healing also affords her the virtual immunity to poisons and most drugs. She can be affected by some drugs, such as tranquilizers, if she is exposed to a massive dose.[citation needed]
Disease Immunity: Due to her highly efficient immune system, X-23 is immune to all Earthly diseases and infections.[citation needed]
Longevity: Presumably, because Laura is the daughter of the mutant Wolverine, her healing factor will also provide her with an extended lifespan by slowing the effects of the aging process.[127] This was seen during her time in the Vault where time moved much more quickly than time in the outside world. She spent at least 200 years there and was able to maintain her youth to an extent.[11]
Superhumanly Acute Senses: Laura possesses superhumanly acute senses that are comparable to those of certain animals. She is capable of seeing at much greater distances — and with perfect clarity — than an ordinary human, and her visual acuity is so refined she is able to see a single Sentinite with her naked eye.[132] She retains this same level of clarity in near-total darkness. Her sense of hearing is enhanced in a similar manner, allowing her to both hear sounds that ordinary humans can't and to hear sounds that ordinary humans can, but at much greater distances. X-23 is able to use her highly developed sense of smell to track targets by scent with an impressive degree of success, even hours afterwards. She was even able to detect the victim of a killing had high cholesterol by scent alone.[43]
Superhuman Agility: Laura's agility, balance, and bodily coordination are enhanced to levels that are beyond the natural physical limits of even the finest human athlete.[citation needed]
Superhuman Reflexes: Laura's reflexes are enhanced to levels that are beyond the natural physical limits of the finest human athlete. In at least one case she reacts to and slices in half with her claws a bullet fired at her face from nearly point-blank range.[133]
Superhuman Durability: She was capable of fighting the Hulk without sustaining any severe injuries[39] and surviving energy blasts from Nimrod (even if she required healing and nearly died).[2]
Superhuman Stamina: Laura's muscles produce considerably less fatigue toxins during physical activity than the muscles of an ordinary human. She can exert herself at peak capacity for about 24 hours before fatigue begins to impair her.[citation needed]
Bone Claws: Lauras's skeleton includes two retractable bone claws in each arm and one in each foot that she can extend and retract at will. These claws are housed beneath the skin and muscle. Unsheathing them causes her skin to tear and bleed, but the wounds are quickly dealt with by her healing factor. X-23 can unsheathe any number of these claws at once, although she must keep her wrists and/or feet straight at the moment the claws emerge. The claws are naturally sharp and tougher than normal human bone, allowing X-23 to cut through most types of flesh and natural materials.[citation needed]
Psychic Defenses: Laura has demonstrated a level of resistance against psychic probes and attacks: When she first arrived at the Xavier School it took Emma Frost time to finally break through them and be able to freely probe her mind.[134] Her defenses were also strong enough to expel Mr. Sinister's consciousness when he attempted to take over her body.[52]
Uni-Power: Laura has been occasionally seen wielding the powers of Captain Universe, and has the mark on her hand.[citation needed]
Hell-Mark: The Hell-Mark has been given to her by Mephisto after he resurrected her.[135] And it marks Laura as a potential candidate to become a Hell-Lord.[citation needed]
Weaknesses
Powerful Energy Blasts: Injuries such as being hit with blasts of energy from Nimrod that caused her to age can't be healed; if she had been hit with it again she most likely would have died.[citation needed]
Self-Harm: Laura has a history of cutting herself with her claws due to feelings of depression and guilt. These wounds heal much slower than injuries inflicted by others. Laura first began practicing self-harm after being forced to kill her sensei as a child, and her arms showed visible scars for some time after.[14]
Muramasa Blade: Like her father and brother, Laura cannot heal from injuries caused the Muramasa Blade because it cuts on a molecular level. However, she is able to heal naturally from such wounds by cutting away the inflicted flesh with any other blade.[107]
Induced Berserker Rage: She has also been subjected to conditioning in which a specific "trigger scent" has been used to send her into a berserker rage, killing anything marked with it. Most often she only kills the person who has been marked, but occasionally she is shown to murder everyone near the scent, even if they do not have any on them.[14][20] She eventually overcame her conditioning to the scent thanks to telepathic therapy from Jean Grey.[140]
