This should be a good synergy still

It looks like they nerfed her bleeds on critical hits. Lowered the percentage and damage but gave a better chance against buffed opponent's. Not sure how I feel about that. But having the reliable heal is nice plus access to rupture and degeneration could be great. I liked the big bursty sp3 myself but we shall see how it all plays out. Plus a chance for unblockable specials. It's not crazy game busting but it looks good on paper. I got a 5r3 awakened just waiting for a reason to be r5. I really like the og guilly but when the vote came out to buff I decided to wait to rank her up more. I think she is going to be great but not a god.

Something else to point out is she's somewhat "Suicide friendly", in that the more Damage you can do, the more Regen you'll have. FWIW.

I get the thought process but sadly its just wrong the enemy has x amount of hp and you will only heal 2% of that number whatever your dps is . even if you use a 6 star rank 4 guilly or 3 star one.

This is brings two more interesting facts.

1.guilly can actualy heal more without suicide poison.

    2. For a heal champ she gets no increase on her heal from rank up/ dps/boosts
Not sure what you mean? More damage more heals. 2% of damage done, not 2% of opponents health.

I think she will not be disappointing. People argue about utility, but the original Guilly wasn't a utility machine either. Some champs are just made to not have utility.

Guilly's healing could be insane, and her damage might not be bad either. I am definitely gonna give her a chance. Looks good on paper and I don't wanna discard her straight away without trying.

Ant man voter's: Phew Dodged a bullet there

Not really. Buff/update quality depends entirely on Kabam. We just voted for who gets to be buffed. Or at least we think we did.

I'm looking forward to testing her out. It's also important to note her Regen was unstable before and RNG-dependent. Now it's a guaranteed 2% from all Damage, including Bleed. So as you ramp her up more, you Regen more steadily.

if you do a 400k health fight, you heal 8k health which is

og guilly when released definetly had great utility.

    I'm disappointed, to be honest.

Literally the only thing she can do now that she couldn't before is to 'share the pain' which sounds useful, but doesn't actually reduce her own pain at all. She 'shares the pain', then heals 2% of it.

It seems like a gimmick. An idea that sounds cool, but in reality doesn't actually do anything useful, since you and your opponent taking the same damage means a swift death for you. If it literally shared the pain (half for you, half for them), that would be a very different thing; and could have been awesome.

I'm going to try to withhold judgment before trying her out. But as far as I can see, she's still basically a Mystic version of X-23, and I can't see me taking her to 5/65 any time soon.

At least X-23's regen works all the time and can get her back to 100% on any fight.

Also it seems Kabam wants to make her regen a "It's like using a potion or two" type of champ.

Say if you're fighting a 400k health enemy then you regen 8000. As a R5 5 star that's about 27-28% of her max health. As a R3 6 star that 21% of her max.

Ironically her regen works much better for her at lower ranks or star levels since her health pool is less so she would benefit more from fighting higher health pools.

She would be ok vs Grandmaster I guess but ok. Since he has 10mil she would regen 200k throughout the fight but that's like 1 fight out of countless in game.

I wonder if Kabam will ultimately understand at some point that a buff would be far more successful if they only add things, not take things away.

You can't always just add. You have to balance whatever you add among the existing Abilities. That requires reducing some things.
But when there is more stuff reduced than applied then purpose isint served

Right, that’s why people voted for her to get a rework. To bring her lack of utility up to speed.

Her damage could be very impressive. We’ll have to wait and see on that. But the healing is hard capped based on how much health the enemy has.

I’d rather see her new sig ability be on her base kit and just maintain her old sig ability. Or make her sig ability augment her healing capabilities. I actually really like the rupture replacing bleed thing, that’s a cool mechanic.

But the healing is hard capped based on how much health the enemy has.

So I've been thinking a lot about this. And while yes, her healing is capped to how much health the enemy has, that's not the only metric we can go by. How good Guilly's healing is, is absolutely determined by how good her damage is.

As an example, and I know I'm wildly exaggerating just allow it for the point I make. Imagine Guilly's buff comes out, and she can KO RoL fights in 20 hits. Staggering damage, genuinely incredible. That would mean she heals 11k in 20 hits, and 30 seconds or so. That's an insane heal. Now imagine her buff comes out, and she takes 300 hits to solo RoL fights. That means her heal is awful, 300 hits for 11k health in 3 minutes or so?

Do you see my point? Her heal is based on how fast she can do that damage. Obviously when her buff comes out, she will so RoL fights somewhere in between 20 and 300 hits, and that's how we measure how good her heal will be. If she does it super fast, her heal could be awesome. If she does it super slow, her heal will be bad.

I think amount healed per hits is the best way to compare it, and to compare pre and post buff heal, I took my sig 80 5* rank 3 into RoL, and checked how long it took me to heal from 30% health to 100% health (70% of 16k health is 11k, so equal to how much Guilly will heal after buff from taking the same fight). Over 3 attempts, the average fight took 2 minutes and 120 hits to heal 11k. So after her buff, I will retry the fight, and if she can't get the fight down as a rank 3 in the same amount of time and hits, then her healing is objectively worse in the average situation.
there's another point to consider too though. taking your eextreme example into consideration, you're not going to be losing that much health in 20 hits unless you're doing an incursion boss linked. that is, if you ask me, the best she can do is ignore block damage

By the way, pre buff guillotine can kill rol ws in about 50ish hits... full yellow bar end of the fight as a 5/65. Will post buff be able to match this?
