Keep getting degen straight to death

I can't understand ffs why that happens
I can't understand that even after carefully reading all nodes and his abilties
I haven't played cgr ever and don't have one above 4* so maybe i am missing something

How is he completing all judgements when he needs to perform 2 combos one with light ending and one with medium ending
Can someone explains?

    Sp2 can do 2, precision cruelty, sp1 for unblockable, hitting him gives armour charging heavy gives aptitude, there’s your 5, then the extend node makes the degen extremely long, it’s not a good matchup for doom really

    Return policy for one, difficult to avoid pushing him to sp2 without just doing combos and not much else which isn’t great
    Damnation = power lock = no power control for you
