Now, if new Guilly works as stated, she could create an infinite feedback loop that one-shots the Gimme node. She heals for 2% of all damage dealt to the opponent, Gimme deals damage to the opponent based on your healing. I don’t have the means to test this, but I get the feeling that this doesn’t happen.
Old Guilly, however, could seriously nuke an opponent down on Gimme. She lands a crit with 0-7 souls, steals 55% health. The damage done by Gimme then increases her soul count, making her more likely to crit and if she now has 8-12 souls she heals for 110%, thereby increasing the damage done. Because she could heal a dramatically larger chunk at a time, she was (arguably) better equipped for that particular node.
If somebody could test new Guilly on that node, I’d love to hear how she does.
2% of any damage, that meean blows, bleed, inverted regen etc…
Could be quite nice
She is no more useful to me now than she was before. She’s better for the early parts of the game, very limited thereafter. For buffs generally I’m ok with that, they are targeted in different ways. But as a buff the whole community voted on, where people ran campaigns for their favourite to win, that I felt invested in, I expected a hell of a lot better.
I’m still looking forward to something from Kabam on this. It’s important because champion buffs should be something to get excited about not dread.
I used my rank 4 5* Guillotine in AQ, for more than a year, doing almost Every fight of my lines with only her. She used to arrive with full health in AQ Boss. It was pretty usual to complete 60% to 80% of Guillotine's health with an E3 in a fight against a 80k total health adversary. Using this parameter, her regen now sounds like a joke.
I always liked her as Champion, but never ranked her to r5, despites I use mistical disportion. The only motive for that, was the understanding that mistical class is an utility one, with nullifying habilities as there most singular feature. But I can understand a powerfull no nullifier mistic as Tigra.
First I believed that the buff could make Guillotine a powerfull atacker with nullifying habilities. That's why I spent my time to do the Full arena, for the right to vote in a Champion I love and have many potential - and believe me, I hate playing arena. When they published her New features, I missed a Lot nullifying habilities and Felt not confort with the lower regen and bleeding nerf. But I try to be confident that Kabam did a good job and I could finally have my First 6* R3 mistic: Guillotine, the Champion that use for years. Massacre was my First 6* rank 3 right after his buff and I really love playing with him.
Among all the disappointment in this game, Guillotine's buff/nerf was the worst. It's so hard to understand, that I am writing in forum for the first time in 6 years of gaming.
But in truth, it was not a hard job to make Guillotine a great and usable Champion for herself, with no need of sinergy for her basic pool. And If someone of Kabam really reads this forum messages and wants to know how It could be done, just call. I do It for the pleasure of playing this game, you would even need to pay me. And I am sure that thounsands of anothers MCOC players around the world are able to make her a 6* rank 3 potential Champion too.
Did some EQ cav - to test her out a bit. Went from 27% to 29% health in one fight
Still died, because her unblockable special attacks are not unblockable so directly received a few counter punches
It’s such a poorly designed champion, hard to look at. You start to feel sorry for her when you watch her fight.
Ppl like me who didn't pick her from 6* nexus because her buff is so bad.
