I'm so confused right now....I just pulled a 6* Guillotine and don't know how to feel about it. I just wish they would've straight up buffed her and not changed her kit like they did.

Feel badly. She was at least fun to play. Those ×××'s even nerfed her bleed.

Only response I’ve seen was they were going to bring it back to the team. I’m assuming there’s been conversations at Kabam since that. Any response/update would be great. Even if it’s that they are leaving the buff as is.

This is just surreal, I don't think it takes that much time and effort for any of the moderators to come over and say something like: "guys, we have heard your concerns and we will work on a solution that will accomodate a larger portion of the player base, please expect some news in the upcoming weeks" or if they are not planning to do anything at all, they should just say: " guys, she is our character and we can do what we want with her, move on or use other champs" but I just cant believe they've maintained silent for a month now, with people actually saying how dissapointed they feel when she pops out from a crystal, or when others say that she was their favorite champ for years, years in which all of us, have kept this game alive and financially successful, I just dont get it, Im sorry

Absolutely agreed. I don't wanna blame anyone or be offensive, but when we complained about the objectives, a mod response came within hours. This reeks of intentional ignorance, but for that I have no proof so it is just my speculation.

I'd be fine if they said "Guilly is now on spot we wanted her to be", like they did w DDHK, who is imo a successful buff - he has some value, new animations and small group of enrhusiasts. He is useful but requires skill to play, which fits the theme of hard-woeking blind lawyer vigilante imo. It is their game and their balance to maintain.

But man, COMMUNICATION!! Leaving this community to speculate is always a bad idea, because we always come up with some insane thing about how Kabam is evil rotten and so on, how we are poor, stomped-on and powerless etc. Giving us negative answer brings criticism, but at least it is based on facts, not an utter fabulation on our side.

I agree with the people who are just seeking some kind of answer. I don’t have to like the answer, I just want to know this is being heard and has been considered.

I hope the silence is at least in part because they are collecting actual gameplay data so that they can determine if the response on the forums is indicative of the larger player base or not. But I don’t understand why that would require silence on their end. Maybe to avoid tainting data collection.

Hopefully we hear back sometime in November, because this intentional radio silence is deeply frustrating.

Kabam if you are following this thread consider trying this:

New Sig Ability: Every time a soul is lost/spent she regenerates X health. (balanced to make it at least as strong as the old regen)

Every soul, instead of increasing attack, gives bleeds inflicted a flat +5% chance to be critical bleeds.

To balance damage, bring back old base bleed chance of 50% (or whatever you need to balance the missing attack)

Last hit of her SP1 inflicts a 9 second Fate Seal instead of Pain Link.

Modify her SP2 Spectre to allow her to reduce the potency of not just healing but also power gain effects by 200%.

On the SP3, instead of increasing the degen duration for each soul, inflict an additional Degen for each soul. This will let her heal from the degen on the opponent within 3 seconds while making it worth launching in normal matchups to top up on health.

New Purgatory Synergy: Whenever she would inlfict bleed, she inlficts an equivalent Rupture instead granting one soul charge.

I'm afraid that's all fan fic. Kabam won't change Guilly so drastically after all their work (even if their work isn't awesome) and they won't change her back. But I would like any comment from Kabam on this "buff" and perhaps a promise to make it better.

If this is what it is I'll take a RDT and be done with it. Mine was ranked well before she was even a buff candidate and outside of testing when the changes (can't really call it a buff) went live she hasn't seen the light of day since.

Same, I really hope we hear something regarding the changes to Guillotine. It’s been a month with next to no communication regarding these changes. The lack of communication is what concerns me most at this point, as we have no idea as to why they made the changes they did or if they have any plans/intentions to make any additional changes. Are they going to leave her as is? Are they going to revert her and give it another go later? Do they believe that her new abilities place her exactly where they want her to be? Even if they plan on leaving her the way she is now, some communication and transparency would be greatly appreciated.

Next time Kabam has the brilliant idea to organise a vote event for a champ to be buffed, the community will certainly remember this fiasco. No idea what anyone else will do, but I have no intention to honor it with my vote and participation.

It’s on her champion spotlight thread. Just saying they were passing feedback along, nothing substantive.

I’d love to hear something, anything, in the next week. I know I’ve said this already, but I just want to understand what they set out to do with her. Was this the goal? If so, why? If not, what was? Where does she excel that she did not before? What in the world is pain split supposed to be used for offensively?

All their work? Sounds like a lot of work was put into Guillotine buff, so lemme ask you: What from this buff gives any indication that they put in a lot of thoughts and work into it?

I really don’t understand the issue here. Hood wasn’t up to what people wanted, they said “our bad.” And they rolled it back. Far more people say they dropped the ball here, and “we’re looking into it.” Overall it comes across as them wanting from the start to nerf her level 3. She was my favorite champion in the game and they celebrated her being chosen by the community by nerfing her. If Kabam isn’t going to roll this back like Hood, it’s rank down ticket time.
