[MERGED] Parry Issue Fix

I think I’ve identified the issue with Parry. It seems it was a delayed reaction with the Ebony Maw buff, where he’s still subpar. I think another buff would fix the issue 🤓

These are the most important mechanics of the game.

Potions and revives... This compensation is not enough for a game bug that has been going on for months.

@Kabam Miike So the Memory leak issue and input controls issue are two separate things caused by the issues with the game engine but can cause similar problems (dex/parry). Were just the "Memory Leak" issues being addressed in the first round of fixes in 32.0 with the rest coming in 33.0 or are the two fixes being done at the same time? I'm just trying to get a clearer understanding of what you guys are fixing with this latest round of patching, what you hope will be resolved, and what gameplay issues will still remain.

Health and revives is great but i find the bug is enough not to do even one lane of Cavalier difficulty every month. Where's the compensation on lost shards/resources?

July 8 is the first post here and this is still going on how crazy is that. It really is sad for as much time effort and money that is put into this by the summoners.

This parry and dex issue is literally making this game unplayable. Every single parry in this side quest fails and it's immediate death.

Updated a few hours ago to 33.

Parry is working much better for me. Hasn't failed in 33 arena fights and 100% successful in EQ Cavalier chap 2. No dex issues either for me.

Still need much more play situations to call it fixed for me.

I’ve been logging in every day for six years.

This game is broken IMO and it is a shame. Kabam is still collecting our money while releasing content that is increasingly challenging without a fix for the basic controls that make the contest fair. Parry and dexterity don’t work like they did consistently for YEARS. It is very frustrating to get an opponent down to 30% and then have a parry or dex not work and take a huge combo. It is wearing me down. There have been issues and bugs in the contest historically but never for this long.

Would it be possible to not release a monthly quest and focus on fixing the controls?

Popping up crappy champions and adding insult to injury, broken dex = broken infinity streak. I don't enjoy getting smack when I know I dex back. I don't remember any app game having as many issues as this.

Playing today's new side quest, it's not even worth playing when dexing/parrying not working properly. I'm not the world's expert on dexing, but I know I dex, and I still get smashed. Today's compensation isn't going to do much and spending units aren't even worth it with what awards at the end aren't worth in comparison to spending all that units.. I'm so glad I decided not to drop any money on this game, it's just not worth it.

Any other android users experiencing extremely increased issues with parrying? I've been having multiple missed parries per fight in EQ with nothing that would affect my ability accuracy to play a factor in the fight. On top of them making this EQ as annoying as they possibly could with these stupid mini bosses, the missed parries are making this (to me) the most aggravating EQ in months.

It’s amazing. How can you release an update which makes the game play worse? Parries missing, failed blocks, I’ve had defenders blocking mid combos, heaving mid combo. AI is even more passive. Awful.

Since the last update, my parry is worst than before. Like everyone else, it didn’t work well for the last few months but now it’s even worst.

Update v33.0 doesn't fixed the memory leak issue. Now game menus and crystal spinning animations are stuttering. It's like game isn't creating cache files to load champ profiles and similar stuff faster.

Kabam Miike isn't the one designing champion buffs and I'm pretty sure he doesn't focus on the bugs, different people are assigned to different teams that do different jobs up at kabam

I know there's already a post about this and I know kabam is working hard on fixing it but this issue is getting out of hand. There are fights where I mess up and that's no ones fault but mine. But a lot of it is games fault. And it sucks. But at least I get 5 l2 revives and 10 l5 healt potions every 3 months for the trouble. Thanks kabam

Since the most recent update things have improved somewhat. First time parries are still unreliable, but better then before. Champs at times still drop block for no reason...don't dash forward/back or run forward on their own. The lag on specials is less noticeable this patch. I've seen some improvements that give me reason to hope we are trending upwards. That being said it's obviously not 100% We also have no clue if the issues we experience are due to the Memory Leak issue or the Input Controls issue. What are Kabam's next steps to further resolve these issues after 33.0?
