Anyone use KG or Venompool for 7.3 Kang?

I keep getting dropped inputs when I dex, and it registers as blocking instead, causing me to lose my power. These two have immunity to power drain though which could solve the issue, just means I’d have to keep throwing specials in the power reserve phase.

KG also has the added benefit of back to back sp3 for a chance at regen

Used KG and Venom. But I'm sure VP works the same. They are especially good for the second half. First half is a little more challenging to use them.

Not sure, I don't play CGR very often tbh. But I would think that the need to complete prompts limits using him effectively? As for using both Venom and KG, I think I only had both for the Safeguard (shard) path because Cosmic was one of the classes and I have both at r3. In theory, you only need one of them for most of the paths.

He doesn’t, hes a good option because of his power gain making it easy to hit kangs requirements. But he doesnt have the power draij immunity. And it was more so for the kang instead of the lanes , that i was asking about bringing both kg and vp, if I’m not as good and get those block when dexing mishaps.

Damn I guess I didn’t consider the AAR to stop his malice, he must hit very poorly after that. The video I saw on YouTube, that didn’t seem to be an issue though

I used VP and Venom. The powerdrain immunity is lifesaver. Makes the fight so much easier

It's only an issue if you time it wrong because you have to be in the middle of a special when the malice runs out which can be avoided, but when it happens, you're boned

Right, great piece of information. I just honestly forgot about it. Thanks for adding that. KG seems to be bugged atm (his kit is being broken erroneously by many different interactions currently). I meant to add to my previous comment that for everything else (aside from Safeguard path) I used Venom instead of KG, but forgot. In fact, even on the Safeguard path against Kang.. I think I did get KGs kit broken. And then didn't use after that. Just used NF and Venom mostly on that one.

I used venom for the paradox cosmic path.
Charged him up on spidergwen.
Turned out to be a solo.
Phase 2 of kang was a bit tricky to manage. Phase 3 was smooth sailing.

Yeah, i noticed the map 5 Rogue mini completely turned his kit off.

Used venom whenever possible during the third phase. Power drain immunity is a godsend. In the first and second phase, any champ would work but in the third phase getting to SP3 is difficult with the parry/dex issues. Not sure about KG. Guess venompool works same as venom so can be used as well.
