This is really frustrating because it happened to me last Alliance War only once this time it happened to me already four times and it count as a death. I've been more than patient with this game invested into it and this is the type of rewards I get for hanging in there. I also have a video but I don't know how to post that.

It is frustrating but can be solved by turning off beta features opt in😊

I see this too. After you lose a fight, if you just pick the next champ and enter, it times out immediately.

Instead of turning off beta, if you just exit the champ select screen (so you see the map) and re-enter the fight you can then select your next champ and fight them just fine. It's not great, but it's a workaround if you are using the beta option and don't want to turn it on and off based on game mode.
