All these comparisons before/after the X bug is fixed that results to a "fair" compensation (because this is not the first time these calculations happen), they feel like it's a really good excuse for kabam to give the "unfair" minimum.

I m really glad I havent even touched var 8 yet.

Did you use any items? How much did you explore?

There are similar payouts to accounts that did 100% but used no pots. If that’s like you, that could suggest the actual count was based on explore far more than usage.

I used roughly what was sent out in the comp and I 100%’d it before the fixes. Pretty sure everyone who did 100% it got the same as me.

So then it appears the payout was primarily based on how much explore had been done pre-fix, rather than some median-mean-throw out the highs and lows methodology. Given the identical payouts I’ve seen for players who 100% the content prefix (but used zero pots), that’s the only explanation I can work out right now.

Which is fine, except for the fact that it is likely a poor proxy for usage of items brought on by poor fight design.

    P. S. Also odd that the official thread referenced by Miike doesn’t update to top of page with a new comment.

Never rush into new content. Kabam rarely gets it right upon initial launch. History has shown us this

The biggest joke is that some ppl got more! Other ppl got 5 and 7 ppl that didn’t even attempt it!! 2 ppl in my alliance that didn’t even try it got 5 and 7 health potions!!

They didn’t give every one the same compensation at all it’s clear they where rewarding ppl that have spent in the game even if they hadn’t spent to do this the more you have spent over all the more you got rewarded! I’m sure kabam will delete this but that is clearly the case it wasn’t a roll out of fair Compensation for all! Kabam Mike even commented on the thread saying it was based on data yet some ppl got more explain that! And explain who ppl got more when they hadn’t even done it! Come kabam Mike!

i feel like kabam arent getting the point here.... any account who ran the variant before the bugs were fixed need 2 fold compensation.
    1. the game issue was KABAMS issue to fix and compensated those who were effected by it.(this should be the generous compensation part)
    2. people who had to use their own resources on bugged content should have been compensated resources they never would have had to use due to said bugs. some if not most should have been given back to effected accounts.

NGL this is a farce, it’s also extremely bad timing considering that open letter that has been commented on by the entire community except a Kabam employee.

    "Entire community"?

    At least you're not exaggerating.
Nothing like a little bit of hyperbole. The basic point still stands though. They’d have been better off not bothering rather than doing something that they knew was going to stoke the fires when they’re already fairly close to boiling point.
