Returning Player Thoughts

I am a returning player who left about three years ago to see if anything changed (Top 20 aw and aq player back in the day). Just a couple quick thoughts on the game from my 3 weeks i have played.
Pro's
- AQ map energy is very improved. We dont have to stay up at midnight and wake up at 6am
- That's it

Con's
- Boss fight like champion is IMPOSSIBLE for new or casual players. Why do you still make bosses like these. It is beyond me
- Some fights (not even boss fights) want to make people throw there phone. Some are not even fun
- AW still stinks. Nothing has changed except for harder nodes
- The different tiers regarding different money deals is terrible. A 3 year removed player should get the same deals as a player still playing the game.

I really thought in 3 years something would change for the better but its still the same old Kascam. Sad really.

I'm afraid the game moved on, you'll just have to adapt to the ever-changing meta like the rest of us.

Are you referring to 6.2.6 champion?
He's capable of being soloed with a bit of skill, and the proper champion. And he's already been nerfed alot

Not just talking about him. There are a ton of other champions and lanes that just make it so you want to throw your phone and not even want to log in. Why can't there be one lane in each act with just no special abilities for casual players so they can advance in the game.

    Its just beyond mind boggling
Most quests have an "easy" path that you can take for completion. Act 6 has a lot of painful lanes with bs node combinations which have been tuned out. However, you will still find an occasional painful fight, especially with recently buffed characters. You just have to come back later with a stronger roster. Or just practice until you get through a fight flawlessly.

The fact that you left for three years makes me assume that you done lost some of your skills, if you had been keeping up with the game I doubt you would have made a post on this.

In response to your comment about some fights not even being fun, totally agree with that, although I'll bet I'm thinking of a lot fewer fights than you are.

In response to the offers, if I were to work at a job and then quit for three years, and then return and demand the same pay as someone who hadn't quit at all, would that sound right? I may have your demand slightly wrong, so please correct me if I do.

I disagree with the boss fights. I think they should be challenging. The point of the game is not to open crystals (although that's one of the most fun parts!) it's to progress, build a roster get better. As a casual or returning player, there's definitely going to be a learning curve. That's how video games work. Actually anything. I had a friend who didn't ride a bike for so long, they literally had to relearn it was so difficult. That's how it goes. It's so much more rewarding to beat the fights.

Every single fight can be soloed with more than one option, you just need to put in the work, put in the hours, and take what's yours.

Going along that quote, that fight ain't for new players. There's a reason it's in act 6
