  Indeed, considering kabam is owned by Netmarble, I’m fairly certain Netmarble would not allow them to leave the worlds largest market. This is something from the other side of the equation.

  I haven't been following this closely, but I suspect this is related to the issue of China requiring game operators to obtain government licenses to sell in China, and the Chinese government refusing to grant such licenses to any Korean game operator due to some political retaliation move. I don't know what the significance of the December 4 date is, but it might be a deadline Apple is enforcing on Netmarble to be legally licensed for that market or they cannot continue to allow updates to be served by the app stores.

  While we work on some technical updates that need to be made to comply with region-specific rules and regulations, we need to temporarily take down the game. We are working to return the game to all of our iOS players in China as fast as we can, but do not have any more information to share at this time.
