The problem is that nobody cared about Diablo, Guilly on the other hand is a character Kabam itself invented and the community‘s choice. Kabam made us invested in her and her buff. Guilly‘s change makes the play style less enjoyable at least (effectiveness is a unclosed topic) and ahe didn’t get any utilitiy either. The new mystic goddess she is not, and the sad truth is she didn’t even need a buff.

I agree, she didn’t live up to the hype, but the backlash is so critical. It’s almost as if everyone knows better.

Just like the other thread, a reminder that this is a game. If you let the particulars of this game make you upset or angry, I can only imagine the effect of what real life issues will cause.

When I disconnected myself from the game and play for fun only, I learned to appreciate everything much more.

This sounds preachy - but it’s a game. It’s for enjoyment. If you don’t make it enjoyable why bother playing?

It’s really sad that Kabam probably won’t let Guilly back again. They have lots of issues to deal with recently so we will be likely lose the character forever.

I don’t understand what everyone wants.

My biggest criticism of the rework is the lack of nullify (she’s mystic).

Other than that I enjoy all the new abilities.

When we talk buffs, do we really believe every rework will have a Diablo like impact?

I want the regen rate on DDHK fixed, back to 100%. But until then I’ll just play all the champs and see what I can do with them.

We’re hyper critical sometimes.

My issue is that the buff program is supposed to take old champions and make them viable in more content so that they either don’t sting as much when you pull them or you are genuinely happy to see them.

The changes to Guillotine don’t add any more viability to her. She does all of the same things she used to do. Some of it arguably better, some of it objectively worse. But nothing new. And it came at the cost of a champion that the community has a soft spot for. Old Guillotine had some very cool mechanics that no longer exist in the game, and new Guillotine is just an eye sore of a reminder of that fact.

I hardly use her anymore. Prebuff she was in my daily roster for either AQ or a go to for some of the harder content. That doesn't happen now. For me, her regen is the issue. Give her back that ability to recoup large amounts and take away this guaranteed low number regen, and she will be back in the roster.

It triggers (briefly) when she throws a Special whilst Unshackled. Unfortunately, she also immediately consumes ten souls to 'enhance' her SP1/SP2 debuffs, which means that she's no longer Unshackled, so the Unblockable expires before she actually gets to hit anything...

The old guillotine did have good potential in fights and with her regeneration the same, but Kabam has taken it from her.
