    Well my alliance missed a day of AQ due to this bug and I have checked AQ today at 1:26 am, will there be compensation for this lack of communication

    How did you miss a day? There's over 20 hours left on the first day.

    Well the thing is I didn't check again I thought that AQ was on break and I was busy the rest of the day I only logged in recently and saw so yeah...

    Well the thing is I didn't check again I thought that AQ was on break and I was busy the rest of the day I only logged in recently and saw so yeah...
    You can still set it up and do it now. There's only a couple hours gone. It's not as if it's locked.

    I'm saying, one thing doesn't have anything to do with the other.
    But why are you saying it? It doesn't seem to add anything to this conversation. Whereas I think it's worth noting that for folks in tricky timezones (basically anywhere not in North america) there was not near enough notice. When this iteration of aq (the version with 5 day preview and setup) was released it was because all signs from the community displayed clear necessity of preparation time. This was important for qol, game flow, and team organization. It was put in place to assist alliances with a broader locus of players and provide access to a higher level of play and reward to those groups (and of course it streamlined things for more straightforward groups as well). For some groups this change made all the difference and is the linchpin of their aq performance. To take that away without notice is a disservice to them and frankly isn't fair, because those groups rely on a feature that kabam installed and thus kabam is responsible for.
    When people are comparing a reminder that was installed months in advance with having the time to do that but not the other, it's worth clarifying.

    Just saying, that how it felt after last AQ's debacle of 6star R5 horror show for map 5 & 6

    and the system even says i should be using it's super effective advance AQ setting....... nice....

    I'm not one of the folks who hits disagree on your posts just because, but I did hit disagree on that one because I really do disagree. First, I do think the things are relatable because the messaging system would allow you to set up an in game message at any time range whether it's months or minutes. It's not like they need to rebuild the mailing list or actual message from scratch every time. Most of any in game emergency message is already going to have a base in their system that they go in to modify, I don't believe for a second that they would put together a message system incapable of pushing out a fresh message as easily as an automated one. Second, I don't think its worth clarifying because it isn't the point. It was one off hand venting comment being zeroed in on rather than the actual issue of the aq setup failure and lack of communication surrounding that. Doing that not only belittled the real problem, but also the users upset about it and their reasons for being so.
    This is contradicting for the sake of contradicting. The OP said they have time to remind people of Black Friday, but not time to comment on AQ. That was the comment I was responding to. One thing quite literally has nothing to do with the other. Offers and marketing are handled by a different department than ongoing issues. It's also worth pointing out the fallacy in that argument because there was no decision of one versus the other.
    If someone said they didn't have time to respond to this issue, that's one grievance. Saying they're cherry picking their responses to make money is another.

    That very last line is important, because they are. If the system works as you say, the priority is on making sure revenue related messages get out there, so much so that they are set up months in advance while the system is apparently incapable of sending out a message on the fly that is not fiscally relevant. Also, what is the purpose of you pointing out the difference if not to contradict for its own sake? Or is there some greater calling it's in answer to?
    There is no "greater calling" other than dispelling conjecture.
