Hearts: grew up playing this game with my family and highly recommend.

Liars Dice: another great game if you like a casual game with lots of probability and bluffing involved. I plan to do my IA on it!!

Codenames: Fun group game. Makes you think without having you strategize the way most games do.

Mancala: Fun game maybe you have played it on game pigeon.

I tried Marvel Future Revolution for a while. Great concept and aesthetics but far too much resource management, and too many aspects that need ranking/levelling up for me to enjoy. Very much pay to play to be competitive unless you’re a glutton for grinding.

I seriously hope MCOC learns some lessons from that. The balance has to be right.

I also tried Mortal Kombat (mobile) as I was a huge fan of the console games. But it became quite clear that some fights were impossible to skilfully complete and relied on gear, RNG, and fully maxed higher rarities.

I think MCOC makes a lot more room for skill than the likes of MK and Injustice. And I appreciate that.

Playing Codenames with my grandma is funny. She takes 5+ minutes thinking then says some “(word) for one”

Another time a friend thought the word “bugle” for three, meant bugle chips in a gas station. He then tapped “gas” over “band”, “trumpet”, and one other. Gas was the assassin ☠️☠️!! Biggest face palm ever!
