Unpopular Opinion - This Month's EQ is actually quite fun

I know a lot of people have found the EQ quite restrictive, and it definitely would be for a lot of UC or Challenger players etc.

For people with reasonably developed rosters (5* or higher) I think this month's EQ was a huge improvement over the past few months where it got a bit stale, e.g. not having warlock was quite restrictive in the tech chapters for me

In this month's one I've taken 2 champs usually with the relevant tags, and other 3 that are just direct counters and have absolutely enjoyed the EQ. Actually feels quite refreshed and less restrictive to me than the class method where you almost always need that class, unless you have AA etc. E.g. in this month's 3.1: need to bleed opponents to avoid unstoppable: I've used BWCV, Apoc and Nick Fury and they all smashed the paths.

I was quite annoyed early on when I had a lot of dropped inputs on certain fights, but it seems to have eased slightly so the questing seems fun again.

Yah I am UC type player with 10 r3' , more than 5 r2's and 20+ r5 and this is very very very hard. And I need 8 stars to have fun . BTW this month is super super Flexible as you said. Way better than Class . So have respected Disagree from me my friend. I guess veterans who are complaining because it is just a another exam of your college should git gud.

Yep definitely. I'd struggle with 5* R3 in this one too (as I would in previous iterations of cav EQ) to be honest. I just liked that the tags helped lots, but wasn't needed in order to clear the chapters.

I agree that it's fun, but only in that it's a new challenge. Comparatively to other Cavalier Monthly Side Quests, this is way overboard.

I had an absolute blast this month! Finally a quest that is more than “class based arena” like it has been for some months now.

Since everyone's definition of fun is different it is a fair opinion to say this month was fun. It is also fair to say it was a long way from fun.

I thought it was closer to the enjoyment I would get from pulling each of my finger nails off, which is definitely doable.

The bigger question is, if that is what I thought the content was like then why did I do it? What does that really say about me...

If 3.1 didn’t exist, I’d think it was a lot better than it was.

Exploring that quest was draining and frustrating. Finally explored without potions, but cost me like 4 energy refills in restarts. Expiring anyways, but nothing is more demoralizing than things going so poorly you repeatedly restart a quest.
