At this point in the game, getting to lvl 60 is really annoying imo

it's one thing if you're pushing to get through the game on an alt super quick and you already have skills, because you're going to need to go back and explore things that you normally wouldn't have. but for a new player trying to progress, going back and exploring things like act 4 is normal.

for example, i'm very annoyed with having to grind so much act 4 to get to level 40 for the gifting event on my alt. although, someone who's been playing for more time might not be as far as i am in story mode (5.1), but they might be a higher level just because of how much they play

It’s a shifting issue, that will change over the months. It WAS the hardest to get the R3, as the materials weren’t readily available. Now you’ve got several variants and act 7, aside from war and aq and now cav level offers. So while the grandmaster isn’t getting any harder, and act 6 as a whole actually got easier, I think he is becoming the largest obstacle again. I imagine there will be lots of folks showing up to fight him with R3s these days.

I literally had everything besides level 60 😂 (oh and a good option to R3 but we’ll ignore that). In the current state this is even more clear as 6* R3s are much easier to attain.
