Boosts before placement??

I have been searching for a long time now.. Some may had mentioned it, but there hasn't been a straight answer to it at all!
Now I'll ask about it personally.
This is not a discussion about who's it working for and who's it not, because this is either working, or not working. I wants an answer from those who actually KNOWS it whenever it's from a top-professional player or from the administrative itself. But from the administrative itself would be much appreciated.
So, to the question:
Does the Boosts work out before putting champs in placement phase of AW? Or will they run off when time is up?

I want facts here. Not unsure answers like "It's working for me" and "It's not working for me". Because they are everywhere :-)

Please.. Make the answers clear.

    It only works for the duration of the boosts.
    Boosts increase defender rating.

    So in other words..
    If I use a 20% Boost, then the PI goes up along with the Health and Power. When the time runs out, then the 20% health and Power is gone.. But the PI is unchanged? Like that, yes?

    So let me get this straight. The bonus expires, but the PI increase counts for defender av?

    The boost will expire for you opponent, but the prestige will be given for the prestige points : however it is not clear if all the champs have to be put during the last 40min (duration of a 20% champion boost for example) to award the points.

    Like others have said, any benefits from boosts such as health, attack etc. will expire normally, but the PI will remain for the duration of AW and count towards your defender rating.

    Kabam are aware of this and are supposed to be looking into it, but at the same time people are buying boosts and they’re putting out offers including boosts, so read into that what you will.
