No more 6* shards from the login calendar?

What happened with the 6* shards from the login calendar? I know there was not much but at least it was something 250 6* shards for the last 3 days better than nothing

The calendar has 28 rewards and X grace days that are filled with shards, and the number of days change based on the month: since february only has 28 days there isn't any grace day, so no shards. The only time you see shards in february is during a leap year ^_^

Take one day from January, one day from March and give them to February. All the months would then have either 30 or 31 days. Problem solved and we can bring back the 6* shards.

Maybe so, but at least February would be fixed. Also the Summer Solstice should be midsummer and the Winter Solstice should be midwinter rather than the first days of each. Do the same with the equinoxes and the calendar is fixed.

Grace days would still be the same just spread out differently. One less in Jan and Mar and 2 more in Feb.

Maybe February doesn't want to be fixed. Maybe February doesn't need to be in the 30 day club, and is happy having an inconsistent number of days. Maybe we should be celebrating the fact that we have a month that is willing to break with convention and seek the geometric perfection of having an integral number of weeks. It is only when we allow months to express themselves fully without fear of condemnation that we will truly have a year of exceptional archaic periodic intervals.
