Kabam please explain

5.2.4 is difficult enough considering every time you get decent damage on the opponent they get a regeneration buff that complete negates what you just worked for. But then you get to the boss storm, and without any hits being landed I already had 3 bleed debuffs stacked up on my champ. I bled out 4 times and the opposing champion never landed more than 2 hits a fight, so I had to spend units and thusly money on revives and potions. This is not fair, and if it is I’d be happy to listen to an explanation.

2 very helpful comments, if I had one at a high enough level I’d have used a bleed immune champ, man I wish I thought of that

And I scouted and looked at linked nodes and bc of the pathways and the gates the most linked nodes you could disengage is 2 maybe 3 out of 5

Then you're not ready for this quest. Focus on other content, get yourself a strong enough bleed immune champ and then try again. I get it I struggled with this quest for a long time but eventually you'll have the champs to beat it.

I had 5 maxed out 5* champs and 4 of them were awakened so I guess now you’re gonna tell me I’m just bad at the game, instead of admitting maybe kabam wants you to get waxxed so you spend money

And the fact of the matter is the recommended team level for that quest is 30,000 which one could achieve with 5 max rank 4* champs but if you went in there with that you wouldn’t get past the first node

Many of us only had 4* champs to get through this quest. If you've got max 5* champs then I don't know what else to tell you. If you think this is impossible just wait for what comes next. This is tough but doable content you just need to be patient and practice.

What do I need to be better at? Is it masteries? I land parries often enough. I know what most champs block breaker attacks look like so I know to block until I see that coming then dodge then attack. I know that attacks land in cadences of 5 so after 5 I need to dodge or block again. I am very open to suggestions.

I've never spent any money on this .. didn't have any issues with Act 5 ... even Act 6 was a lot easier than I was expecting once I got there ..

As mentioned, you're just not ready .. figure out who you have that's the best counter .. then work on ranking them up .

if you don't have a good counter, set that quest aside for a while, and do other content until you get a good counter.

Seriously, it's nothing against you, but if you can't handle Act 5.2, you simply do have the roster to tackle it yet.

Really, the only suggestion is .. "build your roster" .. and come back to it.

If you think I'm wrong .. post your roster, and we can actually advise which champ/team you should try.

Having a high ranking champ is not nearly as important as having the correct counter to the fight (this includes considering the nodes you will encounter, not just champ abilities). Just as an example: I could take in a full team of 6*R4 champions into 6.3.1 and steamroll right up to the boss. The boss has the node "Do you bleed." If none of the champions I brought can inflict bleed debuffs, I am simply not going to be able to get through the fight. No amount of revives or boosts will change that, because I have no champs that will inflict damage.

I see you mentioned having issues with masochism. Not sure if you have any of these, but Warlock, ST w/ KM synergy, archangel, awakened MS, and void can all be used. I would imagine that CGR, Hype, and Herc could also just out damage masochism. Ghost phase intercepts also work as you really do not inflict debuffs (just avoid parrying).

As others have said, work through some other content to get resources to rank up a bleed immune champ for the Storm fight. Good luck.

    What is masochism?

I see a half dozen that would work right off the bat. You just need to rank up some bleed immune champs or get guardian to sig 200.

In no particular order: Corvus, omega, colossus, Emma, apoc, guilly2099, ghost, any mutant as a horseman of apoc (Archangel), cosmic Ghost rider....

You have plenty of good champs, you just don't have enough of them ranked up for act 5 content yet. R4 with a boost or 2 should be enough to beat the bosses.

The node Masochism which is present in this quest will periodically purify a debuff and heal the opponent when it happens. This is why you typically don't want to parry in this quest as each parry stun the triggers the effect and heals them. If you want to completely ignore this node though rank up your Apoc as he shuts down all purification ability accuracy thus shutting the node off. He can also become bleed immune which would likely help you on the boss

Archangel is what eventually got it for me Even tho he’s not bleed immune but nuerotoxin was more efficient, guardian to sit 200 is the one I’m closest to, omega being a 6* I’m a ways off from getting him even to rank 2. Corvus and apocalypse and colossus I will look into

Archangel is great for masochism. BWDO should also be decent as she hits like a truck (though she will trigger the regen). I think Guardian's SP2 can burst them down, but I do not have a 5/6* so no real experience using him. I'd suggest trying out Colossus and OR in place of Sentry and Purgatory, as Colossus is bleed immune and when OR bleeds he takes reduced damage and emits the death field, really increasing his degen damage.

Thank you, I’d like to be able to rank up those 2 6* at least once but I’ll give it a try. Maybe run apocalypse as is for the horseman synergy

First of all, this is not this kind of game that u can do content with one or two champions, and its not only about knowing how to block or parry. Each champion has its own purpose in game.
My suggestion for u would be rank your champions with some purpose like lets say u need bleed immune champion, poison immune, shock immune, incinerate immune etc.
When u gonna cover all immunities, then start ranking up champions that can apply bleed, shock, poison etc. Then u need some sort of power control champion.
I hope u are getting what im trying to say.

There are a lot of nodes and there are a lot champions who can counter those nodes. U better start getting used to this part of the game which requires you to solve these puzzles like what do u need for this or that path and what do u need for boss. Read the nodes an try to figure it out what champions to bring. U cant just come with 1 team and beat all game.

Lets hope this will help you out on your journey in this deep game.

Only 5 champs per quest tho that’s a lot of figuring out to do

How does one get a mutant to become a horseman of the apocalypse is it just a synergy with apocalypse being in the team together, or is there something else

U need to have 4 persistent charges with apocalypse, then apply his pre-fight on opponent, enter battle with mutant and that mutant will become horseman of apocalypse.
If u will read apocalypse abilities it gives u full explanation in there.

You can either bring in Apoc with Cable or Mr. Sinister to one fight and get 4 charges. Either win the fight or quit and die and revive. Or win 3 fights.

Each time apoc wins a fight he gets one unless your foe was a robot. A fight against a mutant will put him at 4 after the fight. If you have cable or Kang on your team he will begin his first fight with 4 persistent charges.
