New forums, new Character Wishlist thread

Just as a reminder, our rules:

Character requests are still a very frequent topic of conversation within our community, and with good reason - there are a ton of amazing Marvel characters in their universe.

The old Character wish list thread was ballooning a bit, and several characters requested in that thread have since been added to The Contest. We're starting up a new thread to house these discussions so that they can continue, but in a more up to date manner.

A few FAQ's:

1) Why haven't you added (X character) yet?!

A: there are so many characters we want to add, but simply haven't gotten to yet. A character's lack of presence in the Contest currently does not necessarily mean that we've overlooked them or that we don't already have them on our radar. Our teams have a finite amount of time in order to produce content, and we'd love to bang characters out quicker - but still need to maintain realistic developer cadences.

2) We need more female characters and more diversity.

A: Our own team is quite diverse itself, and we agree that representation is an important concern!

3) Why do you bother adding (X re-skinned character) when you've not even had a chance to add (x character not in The Contest)?

A: While some people are not a fan of character re-skins, MANY of our players are. The Marvel universe is one with a lengthy lore, and almost every beloved character has gone through some sort of costume change or shift at some point in their super-powered careers. These differences offer a good opportunity to re-introduce players to content they may not have managed to obtain the first time around, and allowing new players to pick up a certain champion while still keeping things a bit fresh. Our goal is to have a healthy balance between release types.

4) Can you confirm if a requested character is going to be released?

A: The short answer is no. We have specific timelines regarding when we can announce content, and that means that we can't pop in to say 'hey, that person is coming!'. For those wanting to keep on top of our latest announcements or teases, following our Twitter and Facebook accounts are your best shot. We also have an Instagram account that you should follow. So go forth, and suggest! We're not going to individually reply to the comments and suggestions that we see, but we are reading everything.

This should go without saying, but please discuss the characters you'd like to see without insulting each other or trying to discredit someone's opinion. Friendly debate is welcome, but the emphasis here is 'friendly' ; )

The Vision can alter her shape to conform with that of any planet's inhabitants, project holographic images several yards in diameter, and broadcast visual and mental messages on thousands of communication systems simultaneously.
She can perceive matter and energy on the molecular level and adjust her atomic structure to pass through any physical object or projected force. She can fly via the manipulation of energy obtained from hydrogen atoms in her vicinity.
Her body is equipped with microscopic nanites that can build complex technological devices from any raw material. Equipped with thousands of data storage units with information from hundreds of worlds, she can speak uncounted alien languages, some of which enable her to project neurotransmitters and hormones or various forms of energy such as gravitational disruptions, microwave bursts and molecular interference.

Atlantean Physiology: Attuma enjoys the benefits of his Atlantean nature. However, Attuma is a super-being among his race and many of his natural Atlantean attributes are considerably more developed than the vast majority of his race.[94][95][96][97][98][99][100]

Amphibious Adaption: Attuma, like Namor, is capable of breathing both on land and underwater, whereas most Atlanteans can only survive out of the water for about 10 minutes without artificial aid.[94][95][96][97][98][99][100]

Superhumanly Acute Senses: Attuma's physical senses, like all those of his race, is specifically adapted to living in the ocean. Attuma's eyes are capable of seeing with perfect clarity, even in the near-total darkness of the ocean floor. He is also able to hear and smell under the water as well as humans do on land.[94][95][96][97][98][99][100]

Superhuman Strength: Attuma is superhumanly strong and is capable of lifting at least 60 tons while his body is even slightly wet, whereas the average Atlantean can lift about 4 tons. However, as Attuma's body dries, his physical strength dwindles at a steady pace. He has shown to lift about 40 tons while his body is dry. It is presumed that his strength would decrease further the longer he is unexposed to water.[94][95][96][97][98][99][100]

Superhuman Speed: Attuma can run and move at speeds greater than the finest human athlete. His superior speed also extends into swimming and he can reach a top speed of about 60 miles per hour, roughly equal to Namor.[94][95][96][97][98][99][100]

Superhuman Stamina: Attuma's musculature produces considerably less fatigue toxins during physical activity than the musculature of a human, or most Atlanteans for that matter. He can exert himself physically at peak capacity for about 24 hours before the build up of fatigue toxins in his blood begins to impair him. Attuma's stamina, much like his strength, is dependent upon his contact with water. As his body dries, his physical stamina diminishes to an as yet unknown low.[94][95][96][97][98][99][100]

Superhuman Agility: Attuma's natural agility, balance, and bodily coordination are enhanced to levels that are beyond the natural physical limits of even the finest human athlete.[94][95][96][97][98][99][100]

Superhuman Reflexes: Attuma's reaction time is similarly enhanced and is superior to that of the finest human athlete.[94][95][96][97][98][99][100]

Superhuman Durability: The tissues of Attuma's body are considerably harder and more resistant to physical injury than those of a human being, and the vast majority of his race. Attuma can withstand great impact forces, falls from great heights, high caliber bullets, powerful energy blasts, exposure to extremes in temperature and pressures, without sustaining physical injury. His durability is also dependent upon water. As he dries, his body's resistance to injury diminishes but does immediately increase the moment he makes contact with water.[94][95][96][97][98][99][100]

Enhancements (possibly formerly): After being resurrected by Doctor Doom, Attuma was given scientific and mystical enhancements that gave him the powers of Namor, including strength that rivaled Namor's, flight, and the ability to survive on dry land.[9] Following his death at the hands of Power Princess[92] and later resurrection,[93] it's unknown if he retained these powers.

Weaknesses

Powers

As a member of the race of Homo Mermanus, Andromeda can breathe underwater, has a tougher skin to allow her to survive in great depths and can move freely underwater. However, without special aid, she will die in the open air. To counteract this, Andromeda uses a serum that allows her people to survive up to 12 hours out of the water, and in addition, provides her with the skin color of a surface-dweller.

Abilities

Andromeda is proficient in many weapons but prefers the Atlantean trident. She is also skilled in hand-to-hand combat, and as a military leader.

Physical Strength

Andromeda is superhumanly strong and can lift around 4 tons in the air, and at least 14 tons underwater.

Weaknesses

Without her serum, Andromeda loses her vitality the longer she spends out of the water, and would eventually die if she was out of water for long enough.

Venom (God of light) could be an amazing addition to the game! With knull being such a colossal villain with a ton of lore the Kabam team could bring him back in the future and have the new character of Venom with the forged mjolnir and silver surfer board, bonded with Captain Universe aka God of light, to help vanquish the darkness once and for all. With the summoners help of course. Or something like that. I love all the symbiote characters and I know they are limited in numbers but The King in Black run was epic and God of Light Venom was legit lol so many other symbiotes that could be added too like Sleeper, Riot or the new Bedlum. Just my 2 cents for some new additions in the future! Keep up the good work, love the game! Thanks Kabam!
